In Sloane’s world, true feelings are forbidden, teen suicide is an epidemic, and the only solution is The Program. Sloane knows better than to cry in front of anyone. With suicide now an international epidemic, one outburst could land her in The Program, the only proven course of treatment. Sloane’s parents have already lost one child; Sloane knows they’ll do anything to keep her alive. She also knows that everyone who’s been through The Program returns as a blank slate. Because their depression is gone - but so are their memories.

What did you love best about The Program?

I was pleasantly surprised on how much I really liked this book. It did have some repetitive sayings but the storyline pulled me in enough for me to have forgotten about them. I really hope the sequel comes out soon. I keep looking to see if there is a set date for the audio version. Please start writting Suzanne Young!!! :D

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Program?

    The unfolding after the forgetting.

What does Joy Osmanski bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Different tones and attitudes of the characters...quite enjoyable

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yup! Will listen to again before the next one.

    Any additional comments?

I recommend it to all my friends. Hope to read more of Suzanne Young's work

    What disappointed you about Allegiant?

    ****SPOILER ALERT!!!****

I just finished this book and I'm going to save everyone the emotional heartache and disappointment...TRICE GETS KILLED!!! I kept thinking that surely she was going to come back and Four was just having a nightmare but no...she gets offed by a damn guy in a wheelchair after JUST surviving the death serum. What the hell?!? Did you really write this Veronica??? The storyline also had a hard time tying into the other 2 books and was alittle 'all over the place' but seriously...the ending was the absolute worse, especially after Trice and Four finally got their crap together

What could Veronica Roth have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

    She could've offed Peter instead

What does Emma Galvin and Aaron Stanford bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I thought both narrators did an exceptional job

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Umm...all of the above. I'm disappointed, sad and angry!

    Any additional comments?

Really Veronica...tell me you didn't write this

The story in which a 16-year-old is chosen by her government to undergo The Testing, which decides if she gets to go to The University. The University is for the country’s best and brightest teens and puts the rebuilding and future leadership of the United Commowealth in their hands. During The Testing, extreme psychological and physical trials pit them against one another to determine which teens have what it takes to become a leader.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Absolutely! It was a different take on the usual storyline and kept you entertained. As others have reviewed...it had to take of DIVERGENT and the elements of THE HUNGER GAMES.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Cia! An average girl becoming more than what she thought she could was enjoyable to listen you.

Have you listened to any of Elizabeth Morton’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This was the first of her performances I've listened to and in all honesty...there was no way I could give it a full 5 stars because I had a hard time listening to all the male characters. They sounded like juvenile boys with speech impediments opposed to intelligent strong brave guys...could've done waaaaay better Elizabeth

    Any additional comments?

Can't wait for the next book!

How do you make sure a crime that hasn’t happened yet, never does? That’s the critical question facing Odd Thomas, the young man with a unique ability to commune with restless spirits and help them find justice and peace. But this time, it’s the living who desperately need Odd on their side. Three helpless innocents will be brutally executed unless Odd can intervene in time. Who the potential victims are and where they can be found remain a mystery. The only thing Odd knows for sure is who the killer will be: the homicidal stranger who tried to shoot him dead in a small-town parking lot.

What did you love best about Deeply Odd?

First off, I love how the narrator has been the same for every audio book. David Arron Baker does a wonderful job taking you through the journeys of Odd Thomas.
Second...I enjoyed how Edie and Odd build there friendship and how a sort of peace comes over him towards the end. This book made me smile for the characters...and I'm sure you will to :)

Who was your favorite character and why?

Besides Odd Thomas...the two that stood out to me in this book was the little old limo driving lady, Edie, and Alfred Hitchcock.

    Which scene was your favorite?

Can't say without giving too much detail away

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

YES!!!! Its on my ipod so I listen to it in the car, at the gym, grocery store, in the tanning bed...can never put these books down

    Any additional comments?

There were alot of twist and turn with Odd figuring out what 'world' he was in so I did have to pay attention through some parts but over all it was delightful. Plan on listening to again in the future.

Why we think it’s a great listen: Some books are meant to be read; others are meant to be heard – Water for Elephants falls into the second group, and is one of the best examples we have of how a powerful performance enhances a great story. Nonagenarian Jacob Jankowski reflects back on his wild and wondrous days with a circus. It's the Depression Era and Jacob, finding himself parentless and penniless, joins the Benzini Brothers Most Spectacular Show on Earth.

Would you consider the audio edition of Water for Elephants to be better than the print version?

I decided to get this book before I watched the movie and I'm so glad I did. This is now one of my Top 5 favorites. Definitely a MUST READ (listen) for everyone!
