Maybe it was the Shenanigans gift certificate that put her over the edge. When children's librarian and self-professed nice girl Jane Jameson is fired by her beastly boss and handed $25 in potato skins instead of a severance check, she goes on a bender that's sure to become Half Moon Hollow legend. On her way home, she's mistaken for a deer, shot, and left for dead.

At once wildly original and stuffed with irresistible nostalgia, Ready Player One is a spectacularly genre-busting, ambitious, and charming debut—part quest novel, part love story, and part virtual space opera set in a universe where spell-slinging mages battle giant Japanese robots, entire planets are inspired by Blade Runner, and flying DeLoreans achieve light speed.

Would you consider the audio edition of Ready Player One to be better than the print version?

I rarely read print books any more, macular degeneration.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Every character added something, all the referances to the 70s & 80s, made you try to figure out the things he, (the main character) was trying to puzzle out.

    Which scene was your favorite?

    Thats a spoiler, bad question!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, but then theres work and life stuff.

    Any additional comments?

Spend your credit or your money, especially if you grew up in the 70s or 80s, and are a big computer or video fan, great listen!

Could you survive on your own, in the wild, with everyone out to make sure you don't live to see the morning? In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by 12 outlying districts. The Capitol is harsh and cruel and keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send one boy and one girl between the ages of 12 and 18 to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV.

Rebekkah Barrow never forgot the attention her grandmother Maylene bestowed upon the dead of Claysville, the small town where Bek spent her adolescence. There wasn't a funeral that Maylene didn't attend, and at each one Rebekkah watched as Maylene performed the same unusual ritual: She took three sips from a silver flask and spoke the words "Sleep well, and stay where I put you." Now Maylene is dead, and Bek must go back to the place she left a decade earlier. She soon discovers that Claysville is not just the sleepy town she remembers....

Where does Moon Called rank among all the audiobooks you???ve listened to so far?

I am always checking to see if a new one came out, one of my favorite series.

What did you like best about this story?

Mercy is someone you want to like.

What does Lorelei King bring to the story that you wouldn???t experience if you just read the book?

I always appreictiate good narrators, I have listen to several books that she has narrarated and she is good, bad ones ruin the book. I rarely read any more as I can do so many other things when I listen.

    I do like the book.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Very much like a robot, and stilted.

Generations of werewolves have been secretly residing in a secluded valley a stones throw from Grundy, Alaska. So when a snooping Outsider comes to Grundy to investigate rumors of lycanthropic shenanigans in the area, the valleys pack alpha, Maggie Graham, resolves to chase him away, even if doing so takes a quick bite on the butt. What a pity that researcher Nick Thatcher turns out to be so drool-worthy, and that his kisses make Maggie want to sit up and beg.

What did you love best about The Art of Seducing a Naked Werewolf?

Charaters are wonderful, the first book is just as good, and should be read first, one liners are hilarious. Very entertaining!

What other book might you compare The Art of Seducing a Naked Werewolf to and why?

    Read the first one!

Have you listened to any of Amanda Ronconi???s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I do like to listen to her, she does well with comedy but can be serious. She is one of my favorites.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Sitting! I would like to do that, my life never permits me to do that, plus the whole reason of listening is you can be mobile, right, wash clothes, clean house, drive, clean out kennels, yard work, paint, sew, and about million other things. If the book is good (which this one was) it means you can't do things that require you to think to much, or it makes you mad if someone talks to you!

    Any additional comments?

    Laugh out loud!
