This collection of stories has not only missing pieces in the Rachel Morgan series, but other intriguing stories as well. A great book: even for those who haven't been introduced to Rachel yet!
An English Lady with a mind and will of her own finds herself destitute. Her admirable character and huge heart make this a must listen to novel... I promise you WILL be hooked! Can't wait to see what further adventures lie in store for the Lady of Devices!
Shawn Achor uses humor, data studies and experience to share 7 key actions we can take to increase our happiness. Fabulous book, easy to read and very insightful.
Not overwhelming in data, Shawn finds that perfect balance in using data to support key principles AND giving you tips and tricks early on in the book. So many books wait until the last 1/3 of the book to give you the "what to do about it!" Shawn spends 3/4 of the book telling you how to create happiness.
What an inspiring book about accepting God's 'plan b'. Filled with biblical and more recent real life stories, this book provides hope for so many situations and how ordinary people accepted extraordinary & unplanned changes in their lives.
Extremely encouraging and helps the reader to see how the events making up a 'plan b' in their life can be better than anything we could have imagined!
Another fast paced exciting novel in The Iron Druid Series. Really enjoying Mr. Hearne's world of Vampires, witches, werewolves and gods. He spins and exciting tale and really? Oberon is one of my favorite characters!
Can't wait to continue on in the series.
2nd Jane Yellowrock Book. Enjoyed this one as much as the first in the series. Delve a little more deeply into the characters of Jane, Molly and the New Orleans cast. A love triangle and lots of action to keep a girl on the edge of her seat. I looked forward to getting back to the book to find out what happens next. Continuing to enjoy the series. Really enjoy Khristine as narrator.
Fabulously written and fabulously read novel by Kevin Hearne. I can't wait to dig into more.
Listened to this with my 13 year old and we both couldn't wait to get back into the car and hear the next portion of the story.
Adam Brown was and incredible man: his life a shining example of how a good kid can go wrong as well as Jesus' redemption. A brave man and his supportive and loving family share the ups and downs for a SEAL's life.
Incredibly inspiration story... so glad we had the opportunity to listen to this together. Thank you, Brown family, for sharing your story with us!
The story was not my favorite but the performances by the huge cast were very good.
Sheila uses her lovely accent to walk us through dark times, uses real life experiences to teach us to trust in God and to find peace on the other side of those dark times.
