Anthony Spencer is egotistical, proud of being a self-made business success at the peak of his game, even though the cost of winning was painfully high. A cerebral hemorrhage leaves Tony comatose in a hospital ICU. He 'awakens' to find himself in a surreal world, a 'living' landscape that mirrors dimensions of his earthly life, from the beautiful to the corrupt.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I have recommended this book to everyone I know just as I did "The Shack". The book makes you reflect on your own life and the choices that form our lives. I depicts God's love, forgiveness and steadfastness to help you in a manner a child can understand.

Who was your favorite character and why?

My favorite character is Tony Spencer. To watch the metamorphosis, as he grows in understanding, is unbelievable. How broken he is because of blaming God for his pain instead of trusting God. His character was so real to me I could feel his hurt, growth & change.

    Which scene was your favorite?

When Tony found himself in Cabby and they were looking through the picture book. Cabby's reaction to Tony saying "wolverine" and what followed made me laugh out loud!!

If you could take any character from Cross Roads out to dinner, who would it be and why?

That is a difficult choice but it would probably be Angela. She will need guidance to rid herself of the anger and bitterness that gripped her for so long.

    Any additional comments?

Thank you Paul Young....again! I hope you keep sharing. God has given you a special gift.
