Haunted by the little girl he couldn’t save from imminent danger, Holder’s life has been overshadowed by feelings of guilt and remorse. He has never stopped searching for her, believing that finding her would bring him the peace he needs to move on. However, Holder could not have anticipated that he would be faced with even greater pain the moment they reconnect.

Where does Losing Hope rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It was a great book - perhaps not my top five, but definitely in my favorites.

What other book might you compare Losing Hope to and why?

Um, Hopeless as it is the same story from the boy's POV. The story, in my honest opinion, was somewhat unique. It was definitely not a plot I have read before so it doesn't compare.

Which character – as performed by Kirby Heyborne – was your favorite?

Holder - He gets into the emotion that Holder feels for Sky. I tend to really not enjoy when male performers do girl voices.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Is there enough Hope left for Sky?

After putting her life on the line to protect classified intelligence, military psychologist Mia Kensington is on a cross-country road trip from hell with an intrusive save-the-day hero. Uninterested in his white knight act, she'd rather take her chances without the ruggedly handsome, cold-blooded operative who boasts an alpha complex and too many guns. Colby Winters, an elite member of The Titan Group, has a single objective on his black ops mission: recover a document important to national security.

Would you listen to Winters Heat again? Why?

Probably not. I read for pleasure but also for the purpose of reviewing for my blog - time is limited and there are VERY few books that hit my re-read list.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Colby was probably my favorite - obvious choice as he is the main male love interest in the story - but he was alpha and capable, deadly and delicious.

Have you listened to any of Jeffrey Kafer’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is the first time I have listened to a book narrated by Jeffrey Kafer. It was a good performance and I wouldn't mind hearing him narrate other books in this series.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Torn between the choice of two unknown dangers always choose the hot and brooding one over the sleazy henchmen.

Would you consider the audio edition of Tangled to be better than the print version?

Yes & No. Yes, I have a signed paperback that I was reading in part just because it's a treat these days to actually read from the printed page. No, Sebastian York is a fabulous narrator and his "Drew" is AweSOME!

What did you like best about this story?

That despite all the humor, there were real emotions and some pretty angst-filled moments happening throughout.

Have you listened to any of Sebastian York’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes - and he's awesome all across the board.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Drew's dawning realization that he's an idiot and he DOESN'T have the flu.

Big Girl Panties by Stephanie Evanovich is a rollicking and poignant romantic comedy about a young widow who decides to get in shape...and winds up getting her groove back - and a whole lot more! Holly Brennan used food to comfort herself through her husband's illness and death. Now she's alone at age 32. And she weighs more than she ever has. When fate throws her in the path of Logan Montgomery, personal trainer to pro athletes, and he offers to train her, Holly concludes it must be a sign. Much as she dreads the thought of working out, Holly knows she needs to put on her big girl panties and see if she can sweat out some of her grief.

Would you listen to Big Girl Panties again? Why?

Probably not - It was an enjoyable story but not one that will make it to my re-reads list. Too many new books and not enough time.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Big Girl Panties?

The incident in the gym when Logan makes an error in judgment and winds up getting slapped - HILARIOUS!

    Which scene was your favorite?

See above - I was laughing out loud at his mistake and Holly's reaction.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I felt inspired to hit the gym and eat healthier. There are many comments on how this book is sexist and masoginistic etc. It's real and it's not always pretty but Holly is a strong, motivated woman and Logan isn't too bad of a guy either.

What made the experience of listening to Catching Fire the most enjoyable?

Having just watched the movie, listening to the book for the second time was almost like having a directors extended cut playing inside my head. All the extra details and scenes from the book that couldn't feasibly be in the movie were in this special cut inside my head. AWESOME!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Again, Peeta - Katniss kicks butt, don't get me wrong, but Peeta holds her together and gives her purpose. We know he loves her and we know she loves him, she's the only one that doesn't truly realize it.

Have you listened to any of Carolyn McCormick’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I listened to all three hunger games books before and once you get into the story the narration flows wonderfully.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

If I could have I would have.

Could you survive on your own, in the wild, with everyone out to make sure you don't live to see the morning? In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by 12 outlying districts. The Capitol is harsh and cruel and keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send one boy and one girl between the ages of 12 and 18 to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV.

What did you love best about The Hunger Games?

The dynamic that builds between Katniss & Peeta. Romance is my favorite genre and I seek it out in all other genres I read.

What did you like best about this story?

The fact that there was more to come - The story was told but was far from over.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

Yes - The narrator took a little getting used to but when the story picked up, especially in the arena, it was well-paced.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

If I could have I would have. I read the books before the cast was announced and the movies were released, and on my second read of this series, visualizing the cast in the roles being read, it made for a VERY enjoyable read.

The year is 1771. Claire Randall is still an outlander, out of place and out of time. But now she is linked by love to her only anchor: Jamie Fraser. They have crossed oceans and centuries to build a life together in North Carolina. But tensions, both ancient and recent, threaten members of their clan. Knowing that his wife has the gift of prophecy, James must believe Claire, though he would prefer not to. Claire has shared a dreadful truth: there will, without a doubt, be a war.

What made the experience of listening to The Fiery Cross the most enjoyable?

The story of Jamie & Claire as they settle at Fraser's ridge and their epic love continues to grow and prosper.

What other book might you compare The Fiery Cross to and why?

I have never read another book that can compare to this series in complexity or in the depth of characters that makes them so much a part of you.

Have you listened to any of Davina Porter’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Davina Porter is perfect for this series. She can be a hoity-toity, posh Brit in one breath a deep roguish Scott the next. Her voice, when performing, becomes sexless. That is to say she does both male and female characters so well that you can almost forget you're listening to someone read to you. The words become a movie in your head

If you could rename The Fiery Cross, what would you call it?

I have no idea what else to call this - um, "Fraser's Ridge, A Historical Account"...Wouldn't sell anything but describes much of the story.

    Any additional comments?

A lengthy read full of facts and happenings, but still extremely enjoyable and worth the read.

If you could sum up Hopeless in three words, what would they be?

    Hopelessly, tragically beautiful!

What other book might you compare Hopeless to and why?

Losing Hope - This plot is one I have not come across before, so as Losing Hope is the same tale from the boy's POV, then that is all I fell I can compare it to.

What about Angela Goethals’s performance did you like?

I did enjoy her performance. She embodies the emotions of Sky very well. You get sucked into the story and forget that your listening to someone reading it to you. She also does well with the male voices in the book.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

What will be left when her darkest secrets tear her apart?

If you could sum up White Trash Beautiful in three words, what would they be?

    Love conquers all!

What other book might you compare White Trash Beautiful to and why?

Oh, I don't think I've really ever read anything quite like this. Um, the abuse both characters suffered in Jessica Sorensen's "Callie & Kayden" series and maybe Julianne's painful experience in Gabriel's Inferno by Sylvain Reynard.

    Which scene was your favorite?

The scene where they were dancing in the hotel room and probably the very last scene in the book which I won't describe due to spoilers.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This book hurt. People suffer the abuse that Cass suffered every day, it's tragic, but at least for a fairy tale moment this girl found her handsome white knight to rescue her along the way. Well, it wasn't smooth going in the book either. There were loads of speed bumps along the way. But, it made for an excellent story.

    Any additional comments?

Grace Grant is an excellent performer and I find myself looking for audiobooks that she specifically has narrated. The skills of the performer make a huge difference for the book and she is just fantastic!

Would you listen to If I Were You again? Why?
If there was a large gap between reading the novels I might. This is already my second time reading this story.

What did you like best about this story?
I like the tension between Sarah and Chris. They both are really into each other but they have so many walls up around themselves they struggle to get close.

What about Grace Grant’s performance did you like?
I really enjoy listening to Grace Grant. She has narrated the majority of the last few books I have listened to. I would definitely listen to her again.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
This book keeps you on edge, almost constantly. You have no clue what happened to Rebecca, you don't know if Sarah is in danger or just paranoid.
