It doesn't get much worse than this. The plot is nonexistent, the dialogue is boring, & the narration is so annoying.
This story lacks the creative & witty repartee that usually makes Molly Harper's books fun. Save your credit, skip this one!
This book is so boring. The character development is poor & there is almost no plot. Half of the book consists of the main characters being angry & upset with each other. This is a boring & unenjoyable book.
The main character laments the loss of her husband into chapter 13 (that's where I was when I decided to get another book), so it has a sad feel for over half of the book.
I was not in the mood for or was I expecting a murder mystery!
The narrator was good except for one character who was a high pitched baby voiced woman; annoying.
All the "he said" & "she said"s are very annoying. Poor writing, lame plot, & boring.
This book has no momentum. It's like listening to someone read their ridiculous blog of superficial & idiotic thoughts without any point what so ever.
This story reminds me of The Tea House on Mulberry Street. I enjoyed the storyline & characters. Easy listening & sweet.
This audiobook was entertaining & an easy-listening distraction from the ever-boring house cleaning, laundry, etc.
Not nearly as good as this author's other 2 books, which I thoroughly enjoyed. So much back and forth that keeping up with the characters and what timeframe they belonged in was confusing.
