The narrator was easy to listen to and the story kept you moving along waiting to see what happened next. Had a few twists that I wasn't expecting. All in all, if you are a fan of the author or you haven't read her books before I definitely recommend this one!
Definately a different narrator sorry to say.
I couldn't get through twenty minutes of it so I can't say. Doesn't mean I won't read it on my own at some point I just couldn't adjust to the male voice being so monitone.
Samples should include parts where the narrator is doing multiple voices that way you get a better idea of their range of voices and avoid dissappointing purchases.
Hard to follow in the beginning and then I just wasn't interested.
I have read other books by this author and enjoyed. Just not this one.
I would try another of Marie Force depending on what it was. I have read a lot of her books already. I don't think having Kate Rudd narrate another book would be enjoyable for me so I will steer clear of those she narrates.
It seemed as if a lot of times when she was reading that it was monotone and trying to just get to the next sentence. Didn't get a sense of emotion from her reading. I cringed from the get go of the audio. I got to chapter 5 and had to quit. I couldn't endure anymore torture.
Couldn't get through enough of the story to really rate the story and characters.
Yes, I would listen again to make sure that I didn't miss anything.
It is a toss up between Claire and Roan. I loved the letters that Roan wrote, I wasn't expecting that, it was sweet after such a quiet boy even though he never sent them. Claire growing up and how she looked after Roan was touching.
I listen to the books at work and while the narration wasn't bad it did take some getting used to in the beginning at parts but not enough to deter me from continuing.
Because I listen at work it usually takes me a couple days to complete certain books. I actually haven't finished this one yet but am so impressed with this book that I wanted to write the review anyway.
Yes, great story line.
I really enjoyed that Joshilyn reads her own books and she does it well. Wasn't sure what to expect when I first picked the book but was pleasantly surprised! Will read her again definitely.
Yes. Liked the story kept me guessing to the end.
Enjoyed the narrator she is very easy to listen to. I would listen to this book again.
First time with this author. Thought in some spots maybe it would of been getting somewhere but sadly not. The ending seemed rushed.
Found the narrator aweful for my taste. I listen to audio at work and I really struggled to finish listening to it. Did not enjoy her switching from male to female voices and the kids voices was painful.
Not sure if by reading the book myself if I would of liked it any better. Really not sure that I will chance another by this author.
