It took me a long time to get through the story with the narrator. She was ok but did a poor job on voices. I wonder sometimes if the writers hear the story before it's published. They can make or brake the book. Especially when there is a man reader for a female main character. Anyway to the book. It was by no means a thriller or mystery it's a love story which was most of the book. It was ok

When foreign exchange student Olivia Grant is stabbed to death at a party, the accusations fly through Port Gamble faster than Twitter trending. Fingers point at party host Brianna, who found the body, and her dim-witted boyfriend, Drew. But there had also been a monster blowout between Olivia and her roommate earlier that night. Someone certainly had an ax to grind. Was it: Jealousy? Rage? Betrayal of the ultimate kind? Twins Hayley and Taylor Ryan set out upon a twisted path to find out exactly what happened - only to discover a tangled web of shocking secrets about all of them.

A serial killer watches and waits. Each time, he takes two victims, preparing the first's body with all the clues the police need to find the second, who is still alive. The clock ticks, and the second one can still be saved. But the police never make it in time. The second one dies. For years, the killer has plagued the city with the same pattern, but the police never pick up on it quickly enough.

Police are worried when a series of corpses show up in the San Diego area without their head or hands. They intensify their search to identify the bodies, hoping to find an explanation for the murders. Quickly a third victim turns up and then the fourth; the son of the San Diego Mayor, identified by a college swim team tattoo. Who is the killer? Why the murders? One glaring clue is the professional way the decapitation is done.

The story is ok its hard to get past the narrator. You can here noise in the background and he cleared his throat while reading among other noises. I wont get anymore books with him reading them. Its hard to listen to his voice also. Not a smooth listen.
