I love to read - but it is a pleasure to listen to a story that has a good plot, romance, intrigue and makes you laugh out loud.
CJ Dante! Handsome 900 year old dark one with a conscious first and Roxy, the life long best friend who tells it like it is!
When Joy and Rafael realize he didn't enter her mind or visit her early I the evening.
Time weighs heavy for the Dark One....and then... beloved.
I really have enjoyed the growth of this paranormal fighting team. I knew Nick was going to have to deal with attraction to the vampire princess and love that he is one of the few who didn't get mating sickness! I hope this isn't the end of the series but if so....
I couldn't stop listening. It was like coming back to old friends. I love Vlad and Leila. I have the ebook but really enjoyed the audio version due to Tavia's familiar portrayal of Bones, Kat and many more. I look forward to the next book Jeaniene Frost writes. Long time fan!
I really enjoyed this story. I wasn't too crazy about the abduction aspect but love matches are made in stranger ways. I will continue to follow this author and series.
Number 40 is awesome! Eve is at her best. Love all the characters, like the way the character thinks. Really like the closeness between the dear friends Dallas has acquired. The narrator is just amazing. Keep up the good work. I swear this series could be turned into a tv series. J.D. Robb is a sensational story teller.
For better or worse, I read all the reviews before I started the book. In fact, I have long awaited for Burned next book in this series whether it was about Mac, Baron’s or Dani’s; I just wanted the story to continue. So after I read the reviews I was prepared to be underwhelmed.
I think Karen Marie Moening’s Burned was genius, surprising and fantastic. For those who complained about Dani’s age – she addressed it. Mac and Baron’s relationship continued as I expected it to full of love, lust and controversy. The nuances of the actions of the Unseelie King, the 9 and the “evil book” confounded me as a reader. As an author Karen wrote a book to be proud of. Yes, I missed “mega” but that’s what happens some books don’t just have a happy expected ending. I can’t wait for the next in this series. I rarely “tweet” but I have to go on line and give a big shout out to this fanciful, whimsical story!
I loved the narrators too!
JoAnn Walker has evolved as a Shaman and has finally got Mike as her man forever. I was really said to see one of the characters demise but it was a fitting ending. Ms. Murphy thanks and please tell me you have more books coming especially if she runs into Jane Yellowrock again.
Now that I am used to the writing style and understanding the story is building, I am enjoying the story like a soap opera. Little cats and portals equal the secret to be revealed in the next book. I really like the queens!
I had to go back and get the 4 books about the wolves prior to this book. Now the storyline is making sense,
This series is really complex. The women in the series overlap in the progression of the tale. Can't wait to start the next one. I think the narrator is doing a fine job as well. Those accents are authentic enough for me!
I enjoyed the book but was surprised by the choice of narrator. He was good just unexpected. Both the author and narrator presented strong willed characters and I like this new twist on alpha males.
