Bill Black is a scary guy: a tall ex-con who rides to work on a Harley, and trails an air of violence wherever he goes. In Macon, Georgia, Bill has caught the eye of a wiry little drug dealer and his cunning girlfriend. They think Bill might be a useful ally. They don’t know that Bill is a Georgia Bureau of Investigation agent named Will Trent. Or that he is fighting his own demons, undercover and cut off from the support of Sara Linton - the woman he loves, who he dares not tell he is putting himself at such risk.

Where does Unseen rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

    Top 10.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

I have known Will Trent and Sara Linton from the beginning, I love how their lives have melded. I remember when Jeffery was killed...I thought I would never get over it. I am so glad Sara and Trent found each other. This story is fabulous...I never think Karen Slaughter's next book can ever be as good as the last but they are.

Have you listened to any of Kathleen Early’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I love Kathleen Early's narration, she does an awesome job with all the characters male and female. I don't know if it would be the same without her.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

    Undercover terror for Wil Trent!

There is nothing sexier than the Russian accent and the narrator just didn't have it. The story was ok but the narration just killed it for me, I think this would have been a promising series with a better narrator, I can't continue on with this series.

"My name is Mike Ross and I'm a Ferryman - like in the Greek myth. I didn't ask for, or really want, the job, but I'm trying to make the best of it. Most ghosts are okay and just need a little help to get where they need to go. Unfortunately, there are lots of exceptions, like power-mad psychopaths, spirits still trying to fight battles long since lost, and the worst of the lot - the Skinwalkers. They live vicariously by possessing people and controlling them like puppet masters. Then they toss them aside when they've outlived their usefulness."

I got interested in other listens and just could not finish. The narrator was good and the story not so bad, just could not keep my interest. This was not the first of the series so I missed a lot and I could not make sense of many of the characters and their relevance so I gave up. I may finish one day if I am desperate!

For Lieutenant Eve Dallas of the NYPSD, the job is a useful reminder of what she has to be grateful for this season. Hosting Roarke's big Irish family for the holiday may be challenging, but it’s a joyful improvement on her own dark childhood. Other couples aren’t as lucky as Eve and Roarke. The Reinholds, for example, are lying on the floor of their Downing Street apartment, stabbed and bludgeoned almost beyond recognition. Those who knew them are stunned - and even more heartbroken by the overwhelming evidence that they were murdered by their own son.

I love Eve and Rourke, you can listen to these stories in any order and they all make sense. Great plot and I love listening to Eve track down her killer! This story even has a few teary-eyed moments. Susan Ericksen is Eve Dallas and all the other characters are realistic and recognizable as well, she does a great job! The killer in this story is especially heinous and Ms. Ericksen really shows her talent! Lastly, I love how Rourke loves Eve...it's special!

When novelist Owen Quine goes missing, his wife calls in private detective Cormoran Strike. At first, Mrs. Quine just thinks her husband has gone off by himself for a few days - as he has done before - and she wants Strike to find him and bring him home. But as Strike investigates, it becomes clear that there is more to Quine's disappearance than his wife realizes. The novelist has just completed a manuscript featuring poisonous pen-portraits of almost everyone he knows.

This has been in my wish list for awhile, why did I wait so long! I love these characters and the narration is perfect....Mr. Glenister is Cormoran Strike! The story is full of intrigue, suspense and unique characters and takes you on a very long journey to the conclusion. I love how Cormoran and Robin's relationship is a constant "wonder" in the back of your mind and throughout the whole story and even at the conclusion...is there a chance and do I want them together? They are a GREAT team! I hope we have more in the future!

New York Times bestselling author Kay Hooper returns with the new novel in her riveting Bishop/SCU series. How do you make peace with the dead if the dead aren’t ready to forgive? In New York Times bestselling author Kay Hooper’s new novel, the answer lies in the twisting shadows of a small town, and its secrets yet unearthed.... When Deacon James’s younger sister Melanie calls him, terrified, he goes to her aid in the small Georgia town of Sociable. What he finds is a scared young woman in the grip of what she insists is a paranormal nightmare—and murder. Two local men have been killed under mysterious circumstances. And Melanie is the prime suspect.

I loved reading the Bishop series...there were really creepy, heinous murderers and their crimes solved by the FBI with just a hint of psychic ability. Now the stories are more about multiple characters, all with their psychic ability and a little about the murder they are trying to solve. In the end there generally is a big explosion of "dark energy" and Bishop has a handful of new feds with psychic ability! The narrator was good, considering the amount of people in this story.

The story is not one that I have heard before and the characters are likable enough, I will hope the rest of the series will go on sale one day! The narrator was ok, one of those that kind of grow on you by mid listen.

Beautiful ending to a beautiful story, I loved this trilogy, similar to the This Man series, this couple fights the darkness to be together. I cannot wait for the next man JEM produces. The narrator is one of the best, she brings these characters to life and I become entranced when she narrates these stories.
