Scarey, intense and brutal...
Learning about the beginnings of Trent.
Haven't listened to Early's other performances yet.
If you start reading Karin Slaughter, start from the beginning so you will know the characters, they are all as awesome as this one and some even better!
If you liked The Professionals, this story is about brother #2, Max. This listen oozes sensuality like book #1 from beginning to end, very hot, steamy and sexy! The narrator, again, does a great job with realistic accents and emotion throughout, loved it! There is a third brother so I anticipate book #3!
A great mystery, great performance, and satisfying ending! Greg Iles and Dick Hill....no other words are necessary for this review!
It was a once in a blue moon sale with a copyright of 2008 and I liked it! I liked it enough to continue on with the series! This to me is a cross between the Succubus series and Cat and Bones(Night Huntress). There are vampires..and they are the real deal, humans and one is a medium and a necromancer. There is love and romance...vampire style(yummy), fun and action as they try to kill their creator who just likes to have fun with them and then kill them.
This is the third book in the submission series, the story of Jack and Sam. This series is not for the faint of heart! This is the real deal! This is real BDSM, not play acting! I have enjoyed this series and hope she continues it. I have grown used to the narrator and now like her rather bland, emotionless reading. The emotion comes from the actions of the characters. Good story...just beware!
A holiday adventure for Cat and Bones and all others of their crew! We learn more about Bones family and the fierce love Cat and Bones have for each other. Love those two! The narration as always is wonderful, I love how Tavia has made these characters real for me!
This to me was just your ordinary Highland romance. There was nothing special or unique. There was little romance, no humor, no real storyline. There is much, much better out there. Skip this and it's sequels, I plan to.
Wow, what a story, I loved it. I could not stop listening. I required a light and funny listen after finishing this. This is the story of a sociopath and the damage he causes to the women in his life. I loved the narration and the way the story was told. There is no HEA but in the end the good guys win, if you can call it that!
A fun little update on Max and Sara. They are married and have a baby and the introduction of Nialls, Max's brother will give you goose bumps...knowing what is to come for him! The narrators are great, love these two!
I liked the story, it gets a little complicated at times. Vlad and Leila are on the road to try and find and kill Vlad's fiercest enemy. Great narration as usual by Tavia Gilbert. Cat and Bones are mentioned. One negative, you need to listen to the final Cat and Bones story before beginning this one. Overall good!
Oh, I love this woman's stories and this one is no different. A strong, witty, beautiful and smart woman wins the the black heart of the scoundrel. This is a historical, heartwarming romance that a few bloggers gave their best narration of the year award to and I agree, fabulous narration by Ms. Reading!
