I love this series but this last book was written to get to a deadline on time and you could feel it all through the book. Disappointed...
Although the subject of witches may seem silly, the book is light but not silly. Great as a respite between serious books!
Although I had read very good reviews I thought it might be boring but I found it fascinating. Very well written and goes to very unexpected routes. All the time, being fascinating.
It is the story of a man/husband who dies and lives in the body of a dog (Einstein). It is sweet and adorable but interesting. It shows you also a bit of the publishing world.
This book was a total surprise. The subject is historically interesting (new perspective). I can't wait to read the rest of the books of the series. It is interesting as a police mystery, add a bit of romance and you have a wonderful book. The narrator is wonderful, gets the accents just right.
I'll still try the next book because I love the combination of life stories plus quilting tidbits. It is the first book of the series that did not "grab" me. But I will still read the next one.
It was missing a clear list of who is speaking when. And then there are some "classes" that are fabulous such as Patricia Fripp and others but it is difficult to know who is speaking. Chris Widener is also good. I think it was still worth listening since you could learn something with each person.
I am so glad to have found another series that is just what I look for when listening to books. Entertainment with some mystery but not gruesome and always a bit of humour without being silly. I am looking forward to the next books.
It is a well written, lovely book! Enjoyed immensely! I highly recommend it to anyone who loves books and quilting!!!
I loved her other series, this was definitely not in the same league. It was difficult to finish.
