After the battle with the Sorcerer Guard, Gala and Blaise take shelter in the mountains, a place of unique beauty and danger. Augusta, however, is determined to exact revenge - even as Barson, her ambitious lover, implements his own plan. But amidst politics, battles, and intrigue, something far bigger is brewing...something that could disturb the balance of the Spell Realm itself.

    Which scene was your favorite?

The scene of Gala, dominating the Storm - it was an amazing and at the same time scary scene, in which the willpower of one person can conquer the force of nature...

    Any additional comments?

I loved every chapter of this great sequel of the unique fantasy by Dima Zales. As I expected I was not disapointed - the fast-paced tempo, the unexpected turn of events and the great characters that I have grown to love so much were as best as ever. I recommend this book to all fantasy fans - it is a great experience and you will not regret your choice. This second book of The Sorcery Code left me as eager to read more about Gala and Blaise as the first one so I can't wait for a third book of the series

Once a respected member of the Sorcerer Council and now an outcast, Blaise has spent the last year of his life working on a special magical object. The goal is to allow anyone to do magic, not just the sorcerer elite. The outcome of his quest is unlike anything he could've ever imagined - because, instead of an object, he creates Her.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I really loved Gala's character. She is so open-minded and made of pure curiosity. I find her to be a nice mix of an innocent child and a sharp minded grown adult. I enjoyed the evolution of her character and all the adventures she has gone through.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The scene at the battlefield and especially the moment after the massacre. It was so strong that I could feel the rain on my skin and the scent of blood in my mind. And all of a sudden the moment when Gala healed everything - pure magic.

I enjoyed this audio book very much and cannot wait for the second part. Looks like I'm becoming a fan of the work of Dima Zales.
