I used to enjoy Garrison Keillor Lake stories. Dry, slow but funny. Now, just slow and dry and very little humor.
Good book. Story stops and goes back to what happened before and hard to tell what's going on. Made the main MAN to simple and to weak to be the hero. Still a good story with never a dull moment.
This book was slow, from start to finish. Has some excitement, but nothing much until the end. Lots of regular people with not much going on. Good ending. Glad when it ended.
Confusing at the start. Not sure when dreaming or reality.
Lots of action. Got better as it went and very exciting to the end.
Good book. Moved along fast and kept my attention to the end. Lots of interesting people and easy to keep track.
Lots of activity and action. Hard to keep the 2 brothers apart in the story. Too often called by last name and which brother are they referring to. Good story and never a dull moment.
Keeps you thinking and trying to work out the story.
Never sure where we were after the first few chapters went by. Too much detail and medical lingo. Hard to keep up with who was who, as the story went from place to place and different people in each place. I have read several books with the forensic doctor, main character. All better than this.
Another near winner. Too predicable. Need to change things up a little. Still a lot of action.
Interesting and lots of action. Lots of twists and turns to keep your attention.
Really enjoyed the stories as the action increased.
Very slow start. Even slower ending. This used to be one of my favorite writers.
Not much story and little action. I quit and he needs to quit, too.
Good read. Lots of action, suspense, and drama.
Smart characters and not too much sex. OK ending.
