If you could sum up Bodyguard in three words, what would they be?

I have not read any of the others in this series. In general most of these series book are really about how much money they can make. I hate when the book is 3-4 hours and a full credit for each little section so often I wait to get them all together. But this one I did like. It was easy listening, required no real thought except to enjoy it.

Enigmatic and sexy, Professor Gabriel Emerson is a well-respected Dante specialist by day, but by night he devotes himself to an uninhibited life of pleasure. He uses his notorious good looks and sophisticated charm to gratify his every whim, but is secretly tortured by his dark past and consumed by the profound belief that he is beyond all hope of redemption. What did you love best about Gabriel's Inferno?

This book is one of the few books I will read again and again. Normally once read I will not return to the book for a second read but this book has so much rich material to absorb that once is not enough. there something so real and spiritual about this book that it should be required reading for pre marriage counseling.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Gabriel's Inferno?

When Gabriel realizes that his adoptive mother knew he loved her and he know that God existed even though his anger and pain had driven him into hell.

    Any additional comments?

    Just embrace Gabriel's story.

The normal part of Lorelei MacAlister's life didn’t just slip away quietly the day Jared Kovach came to town. Nope. The normal part of her life shattered. It exploded. It burst into a gazillion shards of fleeting light. It went out with a bang. Goodbye normal. Hello dark and eerie. While her best friend, Brooklyn, is focusing all of her energy on helping Lorelei hone her abilities, Lorelei is dealing with the reality that Satan's second in command has taken up residence inside her body. Oh, and the fact that she has a crush on the Angel of Death.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Ms. Jones writes a story about Charlie Davison, adult PI who is the grime ripper. Both stories are to close to read and not know its just a different age group and throw in an occult to muddy the waters. Its just not worth the money in my mind.

He finds everything he never knew he wanted - or needed - in Laurelyn Prescott, his last and final companion. Life is beautiful with his beloved by his side but their post-wedded bliss is cut short when his dark past springs into their present happiness.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Cates has woven a beautiful love story threw three compelling novels/listens. I rarely care for this new version of piece milling books and selling the book as three standing novels, when they are not. That said, This is a wonderful love story about how life gets in the way of love and then you have to chose between your heart or your youthful beliefs. Give this one a try, the love interest are raw, sexy, and intelligent. They heal themselves together from broken paths. This one is so good.

Dr. Charlotte Stone sees what others do not. A sought-after expert in criminal pathology, Charlie regularly sits face-to-face with madmen. Obsessed with learning what makes human monsters commit terrible crimes, Charlie desires little else from life - no doubt because when she was 16, she herself survived a serial killer's bloodbath: A man butchered the family of Charlie's friend, then left the girl's body on a seaside boardwalk one week later. Because of the information Charlie gave police, the Boardwalk Killer went underground.

After all, the last time she was the center of attention, it ended badly - so badly that she changed her name to escape her scandalous past. Its good, the duke is amazing and the future Duchess has a past that is so different and interesting. You will really want them to succeed. The sex was sweet and hot and it was the first time I have read one of these romances where the man was a virgin too.

Perry who typically writes christian books, has moved mainstream and begun to write mysteries. This is a stand alone second book. The family is great, mom is a up in every ones business . The main character finds out her mother may have been killed rather than abandon her when she was young. Meets the families' young son and love abides.
Very good listen, nice mystery and great men.

What did you love best about His Captive Bride?

Normally I don't care for fluff romances, but this was interesting. You really should think about what you would do in her place. The man you love or your 3 year old daughter, or live forever or die normally. The story covers an island that the inhabitants live forever but can only leave the island for six days. Living forever that's a scary thought. Anyway, Its a good listen and has good sexually intense scenes along with morals.

In this fast-paced story, a treacherous path from Scarpetta's past merges with the high tech highway she now finds herself on. We travel back to the beginning of her professional career, when she enlisted in the Air Force to pay off her medical school debt and found herself ensnared in a gruesome case of what seemed to be vicious, racially motivated hate crimes against two Americans in South Africa.
