It wasn't the best but it certainly wasn't the worst.
He had good intonation and inflection when he read the story. His voices were believable and added to the enjoyment of the story.
Good Story and an easy listen...didn't have to think to hard about the plot...just a good lose yourself in the story book.
I love Johanna Lyndsey books but lately they have been predictable and formulaic. Was slow in places and I had to take a break before I could come back and finish listening.
This was a fun listen with plenty of funny situations. It is about a women tired of the sterotype she's forced to live within to be acceptable in a society of shallow cookie cutter women. She finally decides to be her own woman since she isn't acceptable enough to marry within the ton and the result of this decision is enough to give her brother and Gabriel St. John gray hair as they strive to protect her from herself! Great Story and a Fun Listen!
This was an impulse purchase that was a nice surprise. It was a typical spy thriller with a little romance thrown in. The story line was good with just enough mystery to keep me interested. Even though the villian was predictable from about 15 minutes into the book, I wanted to continue to listen to find out the motive behind the actions. The performance was good and the 3 consecutive story lines were all interesting. Worth a listen for sure!
The snarky wit and great performance by Amanda Ronconi.
I liked Jake and Cindy's story line, but Deacon and Nina's was good, too.
Excellent as always!
Not really. It was really that kind of book.
This isn't as good as Molly Harper's Jayne Jamison (Half Moon Hollow) series but it was a good listen full of the snarky wit and funny situations that Molly Harper books are known for. It was worth a listen!
Unfortunatly the story's plot gets lost in the poor narration (1 out of 5). Story was a 3.5 once you get past the narrator's monotone and inconsistant voices. Recommendation: Read the book itself.
