It was just a bunch of repeats and what the author likes about her characters.
I would love for it to be another Suzanne Brockman military, romance, action packed, 5-star book. I truly love her writing.
Patrick Lawlor is soooo good at putting the exact spin on his voice to match the emotion of the character. Truly his reading skill fascinates me. Melanie brings life and emotion to her characters and is consistent with maintaining the correct voice.
The entire "book". This should have been just a YouTube interview.
As I said, I LOVE Suzanne Brockman's writing. Had been waiting a long time for another book in her Troubleshooters series, or maybe even a book to start an entire new series. I feel her fans, her very loyal readers, were duped into thinking this was a continuation of the series. I can't believe her precious writing time was wasted on this.
Good flow with this story. There were some twists that added to the intrigue of the plot. Interesting characters, but not so many that it was hard to remember who was who. Any story is better when there are good chuckles. There was suspense, romance, laughs and plot twists. What more could a reader ask for.
When she showed her daughter the school where she had gone as a kid. There were memories and suspense and a good laugh about learning to cut with scissors.
Karen White is a consistent narrator. I recognized immediately that she had read some of the Miss Julia books.
Yes, I pretty much listened to the book in one sitting. I listen while I do my crafts and find it helps to have a book that keeps me settled in for the long haul. However, it is also difficult when the story is over before my project is done. I hope her next book is longer.
When is the next book going to be published and recorded?
Someone who wants to live vicariously through someone else's sex life.
If only she had developed the characters instead of having one sex scene after the other to take up space. At one point I started to walk out of the room when I realized the book was still playing, then kept on going because it was just another sex scene.
I enjoyed the interaction when the photo secession was in the pool.
All the characters were interesting and worked. They just never got to do anything.
Because I first listened to the book of how Mary and Jack Sullivan got together, at least I did get to find out what happened to Jack.
At times I was really confused as to what the story line was trying to say? Maybe will figure it out on a return read. There were some really sweet moments that made up for my sometimes confusion. Also a couple off right out loud laughs. Would I listen to it again? Yes.
All of the moments that included the dog were memorable. Loved Wing Man.
The final scene was my favorite, but I don't want to give it away.
I was particularly moved by the confrontation toward the end when they were in the bakery.
I enjoyed this book enough to check out what else Audible had by this author.
