When Sir Charles Airdrie, owner of Dreams Castle in the Scottish Highlands, gives young Vernon Lathaby - a flamboyant young exhibitionist - permission to search the Isle of Erran for buried treasure, Lathaby takes along his tough hanger-on, ‘Digger Henderson’. However, cautious of being swindled by his partner, Lathaby takes out insurance to protect him, so Miles Bredon is dispatched by the suspicious Incredible Insurance Company to keep a watchful eye on proceedings.

Would you try another book from Ronald Knox and/or Barnaby Edwards?

The unnatural staccato cadence of the reader made this unpleasant to listen to. I gave up after 45 minutes.

Would you be willing to try another one of Barnaby Edwards’s performances?

    No.

Which president had feet bigger than his ego? Which barked like a seal? Which joked about dating mummies? Kathleen Krull uses fun and quirky facts to bring to light the human side of the 42 U.S. presidents in this "deliciously gossipy" biography.

What did you like best about this story?

I enjoyed learning more about the person and the presidency and especially liked having a review of what order they served in and what were the key points of each era.
