An improvement would have been a better writer. His use of acronyms were irritating at first, then in places, just so frequent that they took away from the story. I found myself losing the point of the story trying to follow the confusing alphabetic jumbles.
Never again one of these novels.
HATED IT! He sounded like a cross between a bad news announcer and a Rod Sterling wannabe. He has no emotion at all in his delivery of dialogue and he sounds as if reading a line at a time across a script page instead of reading the sentence, any sentence.
The entire book.
I will NEVER listen to a book again by this narrator. And the author is questionable in my list of bad 'Riter's'
It's one of my favorite series. Its an enjoyable read and the fairy tale take adds a kicky backdrop to the new world feel of the story.
Enjoyable like the 'Lady of Devices' series. Young readers should love and find it an easy, escape-worthy tale.
Still love that Captain.
Just another fun escape read.
Yes, enjoyable continuation of the series. New characters added to the circle from the first installment.
The new direction taken by the story, with new people to enjoy yet the story continues the tale from Cinder.
I enjoyed the idiot Captain.
Makes me want the next even sooner.
Yes, I would think all young readers would enjoy this tale with the cool undertones of the old fairy tale with a gearheads take on the tale.
The dignity of Cinder against all the haters she faces.
Enjoyable characterizations and good voices for several of the key players.
More fun to savor this one. Makes me look forward to the next adventure.
This was a funny take on the dirty job Death must have.
He adds great attitude to the various characters. Makes the different personalities come to life.
Sometimes the job picks you, whether you want it or not.
I so enjoyed the Fool Pocket in his earlier incarnation that I couldn't wait to read about his new antics.
Several other of Christopher Moore's books come to mind. I enjoy his tongue-in-cheek style.
Pocket is still my favorite. Yet he was a little darker in this installment.
Pocket and Drool would be quit an evening to remember.
Definitely a fun way to enjoy the book.
The flawed character of Tuck was enjoyable to follow. He was a hot mess and his problems just kept getting more interesting.
Vincent was a hoot!
Much too long for that, and it was more enjoyable to savor.
We all wish we had a friend like Biff. He tells it like it is.
Biff, he added that common touch to the perfection of a young Christ.
Always the sarcastic Biff.
Very entertaining, fun listen. Good escapism.
The Southern take was well done and the main character was fun to follow.
The various twists and turns.
One of the first of hers I've enjoyed.
Not really like any I've read before. Very entertaining and English.
Too many to name
The Industrial revolution has nothing on the Victorian Woman's movement, adventure galore!
Interesting angle for the retelling of the Jesus story. The time travel makes it fresh to our current take on history.
The death of Jesus was memorable.
This was the first. Not bad.
Enjoyed the take on history.
