A Signature Performance: Tim Curry rescues Charles Dickens from the jaws of Disney with his one-of-a-kind performance of the treasured classic. Our listeners loved this version so much that it inspired our whole line of Signature Classics.

This is the most expressive version of A Christmas Carol I've ever heard. Tim Curry is brilliant in his narration. His voice and inflection are perfect for this telling of the old tale!

The countrys First Grandchildren, a pint-sized double act, they were known to the media as Sistie and Buzzie. In this rich memoir, Roosevelt brings us into the goldfish bowl, as his family called itthat glare of public scrutiny to which all presidential households must submit.

Really enjoyable look into the lives of FDR, Eleanor and the White House, all from the perspective of a very little boy!

The reader Jeremy Gage is crisp, easy on the ears and makes this audiobook a joy to listen to!

    Five stars all the way!

First off, this audiobook sounds as if it was recorded in one of the porno booths the author goes on and on about. Terrible audio quality! I also found it creepy that this author attaches sexual lingo and references to almost every other sentence. Just kinda creeped me out!

Oh yeah, I also want to echo another reviewer who said BITTER MUCH?

Save your bucks for something else!

In August 2005, the New York City Fire Department released approximately 23 hours of radio dispatch audio recordings from the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks. This came after The New York Times, along with eight 9/11 families, sued to win public dissemination of the transmissions, as well as hundreds and hundreds of pages of transcribed oral histories.

It's so easy to go back in time to that terrible day by listening to these tapes. You can also hear the confusion and lack of communication. I was most surprised by a civilian who ducked into one of the fire trucks after WTC 1 collapsed and called on the radio for help!

    Worth a listen!

The most successful entity in the history of the entertainment business, and still as popular as ever 40 years on, The Beatles' story is a classic rags to riches tale. Here, every official Beatles single and album is discussed, along with a detailed discussion of how the four working-class Liverpool lads met and, using the songs and records as signposts, a journey through their colourful, historic, and celebrated career.

The narrator really moves things along (translates to - too speedy!)

Content is a rundown of Beatles singles and the storys surrounding them.

    Good book for the price.
