We love where the children meet the Marshwiggle! He is so gloomy.

    Marshwiggles, Giants, and Underground mysteries.

The Dawn Treader is the first ship Narnia has seen in centuries. King Caspian has built it for his first voyage to find the seven lords, good men whom his evil uncle Miraz banished when he usurped the throne. The journey takes Edmund, Lucy, their cousin Eustace, and Caspian to the Eastern Islands, beyond the Silver Sea, toward Aslan's country at the End of the World.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, all the stories are great for both young and old. They are humorous and full of life and imagination.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Eustace - He is so mean and nasty to start and changes throughout the story as he gets some real life lessons.

What does Derek Jacobi bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

A great accent and just the right way of saying the humorous lines that C.S. Lewis puts in the story.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Eustace turns into a dragon. Poor fellow, we weren't sure if he would get out of that fix.

    Any additional comments?

You will love to listen to this series over and over.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This is a fantastic story in the Chronicles of Narnia set. Although it is great to listen or read the books in order this one could be read on its own.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Magician's Nephew?

C.S. Lewis has such a funny sense of humor and throughout the book throws in funny, cute little phrases. I love the name of the book in itself that the horse has a boy!

    Which scene was your favorite?

The lion chasing the horse and his boy.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I mostly listened on edge throughout the book as you never wanted to stop listening. Mostly laughed as the humor of the author is so cute and English.
