The story was boring. The plot was poor.

I just didn't buy into his interest in the main character.

Coral confused me. I would have liked to gain a better understanding of her personality. It seemed like it ended abruptly.

I felt there could have been more to it. I did not undersand her relationship in the end. It didn't seen to fit into the story.
Yes. There was so much vivid detail I could picture everything in my mind. The book started off slow but grew in its story to overwhelming proportions that I am sure I would gain more from it if I were to listen again. I found it to be an unusual story as well.

I enjoyed his relationship with Richard Parker.
When Pi thought R.P. had swated him but did not.
Initially I felt that it was going to be very stuffy and full of pretense. It actually was a very sweet and heartwarming story.
The daughter was my favorite because she had a focus and character.
