When the head of San Francisco's largest HMO dies in his own hospital, no one doubts that it is anything but the result of massive injuries inflicted by a random hit-and-run accident. But the autopsy soon tells a different story - an overdose of potassium killed him, and the attending physician, Eric Kensing, becomes the prime suspect in a high-profile homicide.

Pam Sturgess says: "I'm an IDIOT! Don't YOU be an idiot. Skip this one"

Four people in a car, hoping to make Chicago by morning. An hour behind them, a man lies stabbed to death in an old pumping station. He was seen going in with two others, but he never came out. He has been executed, the knife work professional, the killers vanished. Within minutes, the police are notified. Within hours, the FBI descends, laying claim to the victim without ever saying who he was or why he was there. All Reacher wanted was a ride to Virginia. All he did was stick out his thumb. But he soon discovers he has hitched more than a ride.

Daniel says: "10 reasons to skip this Reacher book"

What disappointed you about A Wanted Man?

Story. Story. Story. It was like getting pecked to death by a duck..

If you’ve listened to books by Lee Child before, how does this one compare?

Love Lee Child. But this has to be the very last in comparison

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

Nothing. Everything. Dick Hill is usually a very good reader, but the holding of the nose to play Reacher with a broken nose was really irritating, over the long haul. ....

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from A Wanted Man?

from the second hour to the 11th hour

    Any additional comments?

This appears to be a money book for Child, playing on the other great books about Reacher.
I listened to the end, but it was not fun. Like I stated above it was like getting pecked to death by a duck..
