Would you try another book from James Patterson and Mark Sullivan and/or January LaVoy and Ari Fliakos ?

I have read most of this series but this was by far the worst

What do you think your next listen will be?

    Riding the Rap

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Not much but still wasn't great

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

    Not really

    Any additional comments?

Usually when reading a series, you kind of know what you are going to get.
This was way short of the rest of the series.

What disappointed you about NYPD Red?

The story was beyond unbelievable. The plot was evident from the beginning.

What was most disappointing about James Patterson and Marshall Karp ’s story?

This book was a rewrite of some of the Private series. I think they are pumping out the same old stuff just to sell books.

    Which scene was your favorite?

    The end.

What character would you cut from NYPD Red?

    None of them stood out.

The premise of this story was ridiculous from the beginning
and throughout the book. Harry Potter was more believable

Did Peter Larkin do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

    He couldn't save this book

Fresh from Afghanistan, James Bond has been recruited to a new agency. Conceived in the post-9/11 world, it operates independent of Five, Six and the MoD, its very existence deniable. Its aim: to protect the Realm, by any means necessary. The Night Action alert calls Bond from dinner with a beautiful woman. GCHQ has decrypted an electronic whisper about an attack scheduled for later in the week: casualties estimated in the thousands, British interests adversely affected.

This book was soooo slow. I don't know the number of pages but it should have been cut in half.
    Also too many sub plots.
    This book was just terrible.

Sidney says: "Enjoyable for kids and basketball fans"
    "Not for adults"

This book was a very amateur attempt at fiction.

It could only be aimed at eighth grade and should carry a warning
    for adults to avoid.

He probably just wrote it for the money.
