In this case the reader's male voices swayed me towards the print version.
I love the "Billy's".
The female characters were okay, but the male voices were poor and distracting for me.
I enjoyed the epilogue.
Always love Kristen Ashley's stories!
Great plot twists
The final scene.
She is by far one of the best at creating the characters' personalities with her voice. She has a real gift of bringing the characters to life.
The meeting between Charlie, Angel, and his mom.
I didn't really feel the connection with these two like most couples in the Kristen Ashley books. I think I was most disappointed in the narrator.
Her rendition of Hop's voice seemed overdone and was distracting.
If this were to be made into a movie or series, I would make this story a sideline and make one of the other characters (like Tack) the main storyline.
I am so glad other KA series like Rock Chicks is becoming available. These are classic Kristen Ashley stories.
I love Kristen Ashley's stories and this is the beginning of an enjoyable, fun series. She is one of my all time favorite authors. I just hope they also add the 'Burg series and the Colorado series.
Tex is my all time favorite. It doesn't get much crazier than his antics and dialogue.
I have not heard her before. I thought she did a fine job.
More Kristen Ashley, please!
This is the first book I have listened to by this author. I did enjoy the story and will continue with the series.
I enjoyed the interventions with Hero's family.
The narrator has a British accent, but the main character is Hispanic. It is very unbelievable to listen to his thoughts and narration with a British accent. Unfortunately in my case, it detracted from the story. Besides that you have other characters with an Irish accent and a Russian accent. Makes things muddled for me.
I love this KA series.
Mystery Man is another great story in this series that is on Audible.
I have listened to Mystery Man and they are both good.
I hope more Kristen Ashley series are sold on Audible.
The narrator of this KA story is better than the first one, but I really wish they would get someone who makes a true distinction between voices. Since this is not the case, I will have to say the print version is better.
I am a big Elvira fan. I would really love to hear a narrator be able to capture her character because she is quite a character.
I have not heard her narration before.
I did just because of the story. There is never a dull moment.
I would love to hear someone like Loralie King read Kristen Ashley 's stories. They have such enjoyable characters that she would bring to life.
Kristen Ashley 's story though it helps to have read the earlier books in this series.
I was looking forward to reading Tabby's story.
This was the weakest part. Very little distinction between characters. Little emotion. Not like a true professional reader where you are not distracted by the reading of the story.
I hope that there will be more Kristen Ashley books on audible. I really don't like it when they start in the middle of a series. Hopefully audible will improve the narrator and offer Ashley 's complete series including Rock Chicks, 'Burg series, Colorado series, Dream Man series, and Unfinished Heroes.
