Hal and his brotherband crew are hot on the trail of the pirate Zavac and they have one thing only on their minds: Stopping the bloodthirsty thief before he can do more damage. Of course, they also know Zavac has the Andomal, the priceless Skandian artifact stolen when the brotherband let down their guard. The chase leads down mighty rivers, terrifying rapids, to the lawless fortress of Ragusa. If Hal is to succeed, he will need to go beyond his brotherband training. He will need to challenge the pirate one-on-one, knowing only one of them will survive.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Hunters to be better than the print version?

There is not much that can compare with the weight of a book in your hand but the audio version of this book is very good!

What other book might you compare The Hunters to and why?

It's predecessors The Outcasts, and The Invaders, both wonderful books as well. Also the Ranger's Apprentice Books which are the companion series.

Have you listened to any of Richard Keating’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes I have and he has done a great job in all of the ones I have listened to.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

    The wise and the cunning.

When their village is attacked by trollocs, monsters thought to be only legends, three young men, Rand, Matt, and Perrin, flee in the company of the Lady Moiraine, a sinister visitor of unsuspected powers. Thus begins an epic adventure set in a world of wonders and horror, where what was, what will be, and what is, may yet fall under the Shadow.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

It was alright, I can tell it is going to be a LONG series and that many times throughout I am going to wish it would hurry up and end already. The phrase about the Wheel of time is going to get VERY old! If I can't make it through the next one I am going to give up.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

It was very confusing I am not sure what happened.

What about Kate Reading and Michael Kramer ’s performance did you like?

I like the inflections in their voices they did a good job reading it. I could feel the sentiments of the characters in their tone of voice and they gave it just the right touch.

Do you think The Eye of the World needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

It definitely has a follow up book, and yes it needs it, the end was confusing and there is more that needs to be explained.
