What did you love best about Like No One Else?

I think that I like thed Paulo (Main male character) was not a perfect guy. It goes with the ending where the author talks about redemption. Not only his redemption but also that of Johnnys.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

I would have had Paulo and Johnny experience more together. They reconnecteded, fell in love and got engaged in a matter of a week pretty much from spending time at each others homes. I just wish there was more substance in their relationship to make their love more real.

Which character – as performed by Christy Clark – was your favorite?

Paulo was definetly my favorite. She sounded masculine, smooth and sensual with a thick accent.. It was very believable.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Not really. I must say Zane had parts and jokes that did make me laugh. And some of the endearing thoughts between Paulo and Johnny did put a smile on my face.

Where does Fifty Shades of Grey rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I would say that Fifty Shades of Grey ranks in the top 5 of my audiobook collection. I currently have about 40+ so it definitely left a good impression on me.

Who was your favorite character and why?

My favorite character was Christian Grey. There was a deep yearning through out the book of him wanting to be loved and accepted by Anastasia. He was so clear about everything and I thought he was very patient with Anastasia while she over analyzed everything and continued to give mixed messages.

What aspect of Becca Battoe’s performance would you have changed?

For me she did a good job. I think that I would have preferred a calmer voice. I don;t know if it was Becca's voice or Anastasia's over thinking that made the character some what annoying.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Seduction of the Mind, Body and Soul...

What made the experience of listening to Little Black Girl Lost the most enjoyable?

I think that the world that was created was the best part of Little Black Girl lost. The author did an excellent job transporting me to the 1950s New Orleans setting.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Little Black Girl Lost?

The most memorable moment was Johnny's mother sold her virginity. It was just really hard to hear due to it being so detailed but it was needed to really understand what Johnny lost and how she lost it.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend this audiobook to a friend because it shows how drugs can effect your past, future and present but the only way to navigate through it is to dig deep and find a strength that can not be broken. I think both ladies in the next book are going to need that strength.

What was one of the most memorable moments of White Lines II: Sunny?

I think the most memorable moment was when Mercedes told Sunny about how she was so proud of her mother for no longer being on drugs even though Sunny knew she was using. This situation did not make her stop using but made her feel so bad that she wanted to use more. This was the same issue that Jada had in the first book where her guilt of her lies made her want to cover it up with drugs. I think that this scene shows how powerful an addiction can be. I was hoping that Mercedes love and belief in her mother would have stopped Sunny from continuing but in the end it wasn't enough.

Have you listened to any of Allyson Johnson’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have listened to the first White Lines Novel and I think she did way better and was more settled in the characters where they sounded more distinct.

If you could take any character from White Lines II: Sunny out to dinner, who would it be and why?

I think it would be Born. He sound like a wonderful man and I think he loves Jada but I can see where he is struggling to understand and be there for her. I would like to provide unbiased perspective on the situation.

New York Times best-selling author Carl Weber and award-winning novelist Eric Pete team up to deliver the first in a much-anticipated new trilogy. The Family Business features two times the heat, two times the fun, and two times the drama as the members of an unforgettable family (not to mention their lovers and hangers-on) find their way in and out of trouble. As their many fans will attest, Weber and Pete share a talent for penning juicy fiction that their audience can’t get enough of.

Where does The Family Business rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It has a middle ranking. It was not amazing but it was pretty interesting and the cliff hanger at the end had me prepared to move on to the second book.

What other book might you compare The Family Business to and why?

Do not have another book to compare besides the second installment.

Would you listen to another book narrated by the narrators?

Some of them I really liked, like the ones who played Orlando and LC. But others annoyed me like the ones who played London and Paris.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The moment that moved me was when Paris was fighting off the people for her brother Rio. Its like this is the moment when she finally made sense.

What did you love best about The Family Business 2?

I think that the best part about The Family Business 2 is that you really see how Bad Ass the entire family is, including the Mom and the Cousin.

What other book might you compare The Family Business 2 to and why?

I actually have not read a book that I can think of like the Family Business 2 besides the Family Business 1. I can not wait until the 3rd book because I have a lot of questions that I need answers for.

    Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite scene is when Sasha and Paris work together to take down the people who broke into their house.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

The family that gives a new meaning to "Ride or Die".

    Any additional comments?

I like how this audiobook had different people play different voices. I must admit that Ruby's voice and Paris's voice was annoying a little bit. There just not enough real in it. My favorite narrator is in this book which is Diana Luke who played Sasha.

Would you consider the audio edition of White Lines to be better than the print version?

I never read the print version of White Lines

What was one of the most memorable moments of White Lines?

I think the most memorable moment of White Lines was when Born finally caught Jada getting high. I just felt his heartbrake and I just imagined Jada so lost and confused.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Allyson Johnson?

I like Allyson Johnson for some characters. If it is a book that is more set in the south possibly because I heard a southern accent but for a novel set in New York she kinda put me off.

If you could rename White Lines, what would you call it?

    The Rocks we Carry

    Any additional comments?

I think that the novel was a bit longer than it had to be. The author kept resaying thoughts and feelings over and over. Also I wish we could have received a better ending for Jada and Born. Its just that in the novel we spent so much time with them as a couple, its not that they had to be intimate physically but I wish there was just a little more from Born to Jada about his feelings and wanting to rekindle.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

This would not be top on my list of recommendations but if someone was looking for a list of books to read I would add it. The story line was a bit forced. I understand people can fall in love over night but there was no foundation to the love. It was more like they were really attracted to each other and had good sex but there was no real connection beyond that point.

Would you recommend Deadly Pursuit to your friends? Why or why not?

Again would not be on the top of my list.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

The narration matched the pace of the story. The narration of the male characters were good but I did not like the narrator for the female characters. He could not convey all the sass, so it sounded like the main character was more annoying versus a sexy independent woman which the book detailed.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

Yes if more was added to the relationship of the characters.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. As it was an excellent story about a playboy falling in love. We girls all have the fantasy of turning a bad boy good with our love.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked the family dynamics and shows how family issues do play a major part in who you are.

There were a lot of characters and she gave great personality to them all.

Would you listen to A Storm of Swords again? Why?

Yes I would. There is so much action and life and detail in the characters.

What was one of the most memorable moments of A Storm of Swords?

I think the most memorable moment is when King Joffery died. The show did not get to that point as of yet and this fan was ready for him to get the boot.

    Which scene was your favorite?

The scene that was my favorite was when Jamie was soaking in the bath with Brienne. I had seen the scene in the show but in the book it was way more organic. I felt like the book brought out so much more of Jamie's character that the show could not do.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

This book is to long and to complex to listen to in one sitting but I still give it an A++
