Where does Tommo and Hawk rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is one of the best books I've listened to. The writing is wonderful, so discriptive that it's easy to imagine each scence. The performance by Humphrey Bower was awesome. Each character had a distinct voice.

    Which scene was your favorite?

The ending was a surprise. Wont say more.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

I was confused by the quick appearance of different characters. Perhaps reading the other books first might have helped. The plot, once it developed, was predictable. The "performance" was nothing special. I did finished the book to see if I had the plot figured out. I did.

What three words best describe Therese Plummer’s voice?

    ho hum yawn

She's also a witch, one of the many Inderlanders who revealed themselves after a genetically engineered virus wiped out 50 percent of humanity. Witches, warlocks, vampires, werewolves: the creatures of dreams and nightmares have lived beside humans for centuries, hiding their powers. But now they've stopped hiding, and nothing will be the same.

    "Slow to start..."

It took almost the first half of the book to get to the actual plot, but once the story got going it was an enjoyable book. Have started the next book and found the same - slow start but worth the wait.

When Eragon finds a polished blue stone in the forest, he thinks it is the lucky discovery of a poor farm boy; perhaps it will buy his family meat for the winter. But when the stone brings a dragon hatchling, Eragon realizes he has stumbled upon a legacy nearly as old as the Empire itself.

    "Slow start but great finish"
    Overall

I found the first several chapters of the book to be rather slow... and was bothered initally by the writing itself, but after the story got going I greatly enjoyed it. I agree with other reviews - the dragon's voice wasn't how I imagined it!

    "Good book, bad accent"

The book was great. The reader was ok - once I got past the accents and the attempts to do characters, I enjoyed the book. Great twisting plot!
