Private, the world's most renowned investigation firm, has been commissioned to provide security for the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Its agents are the smartest, fastest, and most technologically advanced in the world, and 400 of them have been transferred to London to protect more than 10,000 competitors who represent more than 200 countries. The opening ceremony is hours away when Private investigator and single father of twins, Peter Knight, is called to the scene of a ruthless murder: a high-ranking member of the games' organizing committee has been killed.

What character would you cut from Private Games?

The killers comments...it's very disturbing...reminded me of the killer in 'Swimsuit'

    Any additional comments?

I didn't finish the book and wish I hadn't wasted my credit on it. I've listened to the first two in the Private Series and really enjoyed them, now I'm leery to listen to any of the other books in the series.

Seth Hubbard is a wealthy man dying of lung cancer. He trusts no one. Before he hangs himself from a sycamore tree, Hubbard leaves a new, handwritten, will. It is an act that drags his adult children, his black maid, and Jake into a conflict as riveting and dramatic as the murder trial that made Brigance one of Ford County's most notorious citizens, just three years earlier. The second will raises far more questions than it answers. Why would Hubbard leave nearly all of his fortune to his maid? Had chemotherapy and painkillers affected his ability to think clearly?

I was pleasantly surprised at how good this book was; it has lots of charters and the narrator did a great job with them. It was enjoyable listening to the plot unfold. I also like that my attention was grabbed within the first 5 minutes.

Bellamy Lyston was only 12 years old when her older sister Susan was killed on a stormy Memorial Day. Bellamy's fear of storms is a legacy of the tornado that destroyed the crime scene along with her memory of what really happened during the day's most devastating moments. Now, 18 years later, Bellamy has written a sensational, best-selling novel based on Susan's murder. Because the book was inspired by the tragic event that still pains her family, she published it under a pseudonym to protect them from unwanted publicity. But an opportunistic reporter for a tabloid newspaper discovers that the book is based on fact....

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I love the book & story - however the reader is awful - I ended up buying the book because her voice and inflections were so annoying.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Very annoying voice and inflections. She took away from the story - so much so I quit listening to the book and purchased it.
