Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I guess, even though the story stretches, it's still interesting

Would you recommend Highland Fire to your friends? Why or why not?

, yes, as I said before still interesting story

What about James Gillies’s performance did you like?

    Same

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

    No

    Any additional comments?

This is my first book of this author, not bad....
But also not great, though I'm spoiled by Suzan Tisdale, Victoria Roberts, Willa Blair, Amy Amy Jarecki and ladies like this.
The book is a little too stretched and partially repeating, therefor I'll give it three stars.
    The storyline is great though.

As a child, Morgan Edwards marveled at the faery tales spun by her beloved grandmother, stories of the magical beings hidden in the heart of ancient Wales. But now Morgan is all grown up, a veterinarian who believes only in what science can prove - until the night a massive black dog saves her from a vicious attack. Suddenly a stranger stands before her, the man of her dreams made flesh and blood, not by science, but by a magic that could bring them their hearts’ desires...or cost them everything they have.

Where does Storm Warrior rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Way up in my top list

Who was your favorite character and why?

Morgan, because the world needs more Vets like her

What about Justine Eyre’s performance did you like?

Loved her as usual, not the first narration I listened to.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes, when the Grim saved Morgan

    Any additional comments?

I was certain, I had picked all my favorite authors, boy, il was wrong. Miss Harper joined the circle with this book. I loved it from first page to THE END.
I love the twist she gave the fairies, not all are bad but boy, they are outright mean, no wonder, you'll hold your breath for Morgan and Rhyse.
If you think logical, what story about the death dog Grim could fill a whole book with excitement, humor and romance. If you want to know, read this one!!!!

Review of vampires need not apply? By Mimi Jean Pamfiloff

As usual I loved it from the first words to the pause, though I want to kill Mimi for leaving me hanging in there, no it's not a cliffhanger, but obviously I can't get enough of this author.
If one asks me, yes get the book!

Ambrose Young was beautiful. He was tall and muscular, with hair that touched his shoulders and eyes that burned right through you. The kind of beautiful that graced the covers of romance novels, and Fern Taylor would know. She'd been reading them since she was 13. But maybe because he was so beautiful he was never someone Fern thought she could have...until he wasn't beautiful anymore.

    Bailey, rob pinned him

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes, baileys funeral, when Ambrosius spoke the eulogy

    Any additional comments?

This is a book, which sneaked up from the rear, surprising me with its emotional content. It's a must read though not the romance type you find in the book aisle of the everyday store. Miss Harmon spellbound me, without a lot of action, erotic scenes. This book is one of my favorites now.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Faster pace and no repeating over and over

If you’ve listened to books by Dawna Raver before, how does this one compare?

    Was first time

Have you listened to any of Tanya Eby’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    First time

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Colour Wielders?

    ALL the contious repeats

    Any additional comments?

The story has potential, but......it is very dragged out by repeating over and over again why the colors were tainted and what dove meant and why arik doesn't like Devon, how much the whiney heroine missed her mother, that her father supposedly abounded them, and what a changeling was, how it was controlled and that Morgana is the very same from Arthur and so on and so on.
I really thought this would be right up my alley, it would have been.
I'm by no means a fan of fifty shades, but at least the flow did interest me enough to buy and read the remaining two books, color wielder doesn't even evoke the slightest interest to do so with its sequel.
I had to force myself to finish it, thinking it will pick up in pace, naw, never mind... Quinn can stay as Morgana's hostage, I give a dAng if Aric or Devon will get her, sorry, but as I said before BORING

Did Erin Jones do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

Yap, but I missed Brad brogue

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

    Romance in history

    Any additional comments?

My, what to say about this one. Let's start by saying that Miss Tisdale spoiled me with her style of story telling, her fluent penmanship, her just adding enough spice without getting to obvious or vulgar, after all this author is a real lady.
All her books did spellbind me on the spot including Laiden's Daughter, but( yeah, a but, I hate it) this specific one lacks the action the others of the MacKenna books so capture a reader. Not that Laiden's daughter is boring, just it doesn't have the umph. I still can recommend this book with clear conscience for this matter.
Another weakness of this specific book is Aishlyn herself. In my minds eyes, which Miss Tisdale so daringly spoils with descriptions of people and places, the heroine is very whiney, yes, at the end she discovers her strength, but all her other heroines are sassy. I missed that.

    Loved the narrator
As an addict to audible I listened, might have to do with being able not having to exit the world of books while I have to attend my chores. Anyhow, I loved the story, a few times Miss Tisdale caught me of guard thinking, ok, that must be the end, nooooooooo,it kept going. Now don't you go and think ,dang it, must be boringly dragged on and on. Quiet the opposite. The entire time I was spell bound, couldn't stop listening till I knew for sure Findley's had his lass safe and for good. Love, love, love it. I can recommend this book in any of the availability with good conscience.
