This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

If you like music and sound effects then you might like this audiobook.

Would you ever listen to anything by Peter Anghelides again?

Maybe, I'm open to giving him another try.

Which character – as performed by David Tennant – was your favorite?

    The Doctor

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

    David Tennant reading it.

    Any additional comments?

I was surprised that he wasn't spot on for The Doctor. Other readers have done the Doctors voice better. :)

‘There's no end to the horror in this place - it's like Hell, and there are devils round every corner.’ On Leisure Platform 9 gamblers and villains mix with socialites and celebrities. It’s a place where you won’t want to win the wrong game. With Rory kidnapped by a brutal crime lord, the Doctor and Amy infiltrate a deadly contest where fugitives become the hunted. But how long before they realise the Doctor isn’t a vicious mercenary and discover what Amy is up to?

Bit more violent and grim then the TV show, but it's engaging and true to the characters.

Enjoyed how each of the main characters have an opportunity to shine and rise to the occasion to save themselves and others.

Arthur Darvill does a fabulous job, his creative range with character voices and accents is impressive.

What would have made A Storm of Swords better?

Someone reading the book instead of a strange attempt of acting it out.

Has A Storm of Swords turned you off from other books in this genre?

I will be much more careful to listen and sample before buying.

What didn’t you like about Roy Dotrice’s performance?

Overacting, hammy, annoying intonations. His voice. I feel cruel writing this but it was like nails scraping against a chalkboard.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Grateful that I didn't download it onto my phone.
