It's a simple story. Boy finds proof that reality is a computer program. Boy uses program to manipulate time and space. Boy gets in trouble. Boy flees back in time to Medieval England to live as a wizard while he tries to think of a way to fix things. Boy gets in more trouble. Oh, and boy meets girl at some point.

Would you consider the audio edition of Off to Be the Wizard to be better than the print version?

I have not read the print version but, it does seem to lend itself well to audible. The voices are fun and you can tell the reader enjoyed this project. There is lots of humor that translates well.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Off to Be the Wizard?

I loved the hook. Relatable characters in fun situations that you could imagine yourself in if it wasn't so silly.

What about Luke Daniels’s performance did you like?

Great voices. Humor in his voice.

    Any additional comments?

This is a great Geek/sci-fi/fantasy book that will give you many laughs. It is a perfect follow up if you want to lighten the mood after a long drawn dramatic out trilogy. You would like it if you like John Scalzi or Ernest Cline. Now I want more...

Six days ago, astronaut Mark Watney became one of the first people to walk on Mars. Now, he's sure he'll be the first person to die there. After a dust storm nearly kills him and forces his crew to evacuate while thinking him dead, Mark finds himself stranded and completely alone with no way to even signal Earth that he’s alive—and even if he could get word out, his supplies would be gone long before a rescue could arrive. Chances are, though, he won't have time to starve to death. The damaged machinery, unforgiving environment, or plain old "human error" are much more likely to kill him first. But Mark isn't ready to give up yet. Drawing on his ingenuity, his engineering skills—and a relentless, dogged refusal to quit—he steadfastly confronts one seemingly insurmountable obstacle after the next. Will his resourcefulness be enough to overcome the impossible odds against him?"

If you could sum up The Martian in three words, what would they be?

    Page-Turner- Technical- Great Humor

Who was your favorite character and why?

The Main Protagonist was superb. Serious, funny, and determined

    Which scene was your favorite?

I loved the logic and problem solving. The well placed humor carried this book for me. It added levity without over doing it.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. It was so hard to put down.
