But it's a hell of a ride.
Yes it's vulgar. Yes, to some people it is probably obscene, it sure is fun.
I'm not a big Stones fan but I really enjoyed listening to this book. Never boring, always fun and just how did he remember all this stuff?
Unvarnished and painfully truthful Keith does not make excuses he just tells the story of his life.
Makes me want to sit down and drink a few rum and cokes on the beach with him and ask questions.
I do a lot of work that many would consider mindless tasks. For the past week I have listened to this book while gardening, cleaning house, driving and more.
The characters are engaging and the premise intriguing. Some might find it simplistic though I would disagree.
I loved listening to this book. The different characters in different voices with dialect was an excellent way to keep the character's story lines seperate and distinct. It was a nice long book and took me several days to finish while I was working in the garden and doing dishes, laundry and such. The whole time I was thinking, "At least I'm not a black maid in the South in the 60s."
