Have read the audible and hard copy multiple times--required reading in my classes for Undergrad Operations and Supply-Chain Management. I hope my students can make the connection to their lives, and create a more meaningful learning experience. This book should be read and applied to any life seeking enduring values (intrinsic motivation) over grades and salary standards (extrinsic motivation). Great weaving of truths into life and business, organizational and individual. Hope Greg keeps writing!
I would recommend and will purchase the hardcopy as a great reference and case study product. The narration was just horrible. A wonderful and well-written text with a robot reader. Why would Audible subject their audience to this one--youck!
Are you kidding? This performance can go nowhere but up. Terrible!
This is a book that I found very interesting. The quantitative decision making process is one of my favorite process tostudy and theorize upon. Great illustrations. But buy the book, the narrator is like a robot. Sorry robots!
This monotone narration is so diametrically opposed to the quality of the writing of this book, and the Heath's other work (Made to Stick). There is some great material here, and the book is a great way to access the work of the authors. The audiobook is horrible due to, what sounds like, a digitized reading machine--hardly stops for periods, much less accentuate emotion.
If I had listened to this audiobook before reading Made to Stick, I would likely have never read another work by the Heath brothers. Really should invest in their own quality, as they suggest in their writings. Take your own medicine, please.
