Didn't read book one and quickly figured out that in order to get into Pulse you must start there. Apparently all the drama and character development happened in book one... I'm sure it was great and recommend readers start there and Pulse will make much more sense.
Is he serious?
The Crossfire series is like the non-bondage version of Fifty Shades of Grey... characters are twisted and need therapy but oh so good at...
No - three books of creepy male voices. Pass.
Don't let the narrator stop you from enjoying this trilogy! So wrong but so good!!
Most definitely! Won't be able to put them down - guaranteed!
The male voices. Unnecessary and completely took away from the characters. Hard to take them seriously.
Great book - hooks you from the beginning and does not disappoint throughout. Can't help but fall in love with both leads. Hope to see more of these two!
Yes - absolutely!
The extreme and obnoxious dialect changes for each character. Overdone and irritating.
Narrator did great - managed to give each character their own personality without over doing it.
Kept hoping the story would pick up... not sure an entire book should have been dedicated to just this story line.
If only because the narrator didn't butcher an Australian accent. Definitely worth a second listen!
Great story! Found myself talking/yelling at the radio commuting to work... the main character was awful at being bad but it was a train wreck you just couldn't tear your eyes away from. Every wrong turn you knew it was just going to get worse and worse. The author did not disappoint! Great story!
Good story and endearing characters... worth a round two
More warm&fuzzy than hot and steamy
The writing was great! Adored the characters!! The author managed to create a lovable female lead who NEVER played the victim and even managed to find humor in drama.
You could tell she enjoyed the characters and story line. Totally did them both justice and brought it all to life =) Thank you!! For not killing this great story!!
Favorite scene in the book is when Gwen hears Hawks name for the first time. With everything going on around her she's stuck on his name... the author and narrator nailed this and I had to laugh out loud. Totally hooked from that point forward!!
You've got to read this one... it won't disappoint!
