Her Male Scotts sounds like Sesame Street's The Count.
The book was a bit hard to get into at first, you feel as if you must have missed some key information that links it to The Bride. But early on there is no link... it comes later and really isnt that strong. So if you didnt hear the Bride its OK. This takes its own path. I ENJOYED THE PLOT and its twists MORE THAN THE BRIDE. Will listen to this again.
I would not listen to another Auel Book. It was like trudging through to many superfluous details to get to the storyline.
I have listened to all the books over and over and over again!
my husband even likes them.
Oh of course. Probably Several times while I wait for DG's next book!
CF facing her rapist and JF finding out about it.
NO WAY... Davina brings all the characters alive... not a fair Q.
The demise of Henri-Christian.
When is the next book coming out... this book went SO FAST.
Narrators were changed and the voices drag out the most dull and uninteresting plot of the series. Cassandra Clare has lost her fan focus with this book. I will not be purchasing another in this series.
It was painful and time consuming trying to give this book a fair shot. I buy audio books for entertainment and this was so monotonous.
Ed Westwick and Mollie Quinn. Duh!
PAIN, Anger I waisted time on this.
Plot was not based on relationship and character development which is what all of Clare's fans expected.
Can I have my credit back? I can't finish this. But I want others to know and give them a chance to spend their credit elsewhere unless they rerecord this book. Still wont change the plot tempo or the lack of further character development. Maybe we know all there is about these characters and now all that is left is painful uninteresting wars and struggles. Snore.
No... I forgot I had already purchased and was disappointed by this title.
Caitlin is the only thing that kept me listening.
This is less character development more gore... There was not much that happened in this book... IN FACT SKIP THIS TITLE AND WAIT FOR THE THIRD BOOK. The author will be able to recap what has happened in this book in under 3 pages. Serious... not nearly as good as the first.
No. I have started and stopped this Book so many times... I give up. Its my worst Audible Purchase to date. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Phil Gigante. That's why I bought this title. The Book and Jane Brown are horrible. A good Narrator can make me enjoy a lack luster title... but here you have a bad performance from Jane Brown, Phil not in the Lead Role... and a terrible story line... I have no idea what these people were thinking with the reviews they have given this title.
I was very pleased with this book.. Had never listened to a Koontz book before and went off the review of others... I will go back and look for others. I never new where the book was going next! Great for an avid audiobook listener!!
Phil Gigante should have narrated the whole series.
No. Im returning the book.
Did not enjoy the last 2 books with their narration
Phil Gigante and an unusual story line.
Quinn''s strong character and Cal's likeable, honorable nature.
I returned the last 2 of the 3 in the trilogy. I felt like a BIG bait and switch happened with the 2 super rotten narrator that finished the trilogy. I when I buy amd Audio Book I wamt it to be one that I'd at least be willing to listen to a 2nd time. They made a mistake not having Gigante on the whole series. I don't care if you don't like his female narration there is no one that does male narration better and given the book is predominately about the three boys it needed to stay Gigante as the narrator.
When I dont have a series I want.... I scroll through Gigantes' works. Boy was I unhappy to learn he was not on the full story.
