"A Comfortable Classic"
Listening to this is like revisiting an old friend. The narration was good and the story is very imaginative.
"Flavia is my spirit animal"
Have them all! Love them all!! Get through the first chapter of sad remembrances which is very good but tough to take. It’s worth it!!
"Sub par "
Disappointed in this one. It’s Ok, but the humor is reaching and it feels like it was just written as a quick follow up on the heels of the Martian’s success. The narrator’s voice is interesting but her accents are terrible, everyone sounds Russian or the American equivalent of a Russian accent.
"A Balanced Relationship"
I absolutely love this series and it's so hard to wait in between books! This latest addition is true to form and extremely enjoyable. The narrator is fabulous and can seamlessly go from character to another with ease. The animosity between Bryant and Rosa had me really laughing at the clever insults he threw her way. Really worth the time and money. You won't be disappointed!!
"An unexpected, very good series"
I am always on the lookout for British Crime Mysteries, so I bought the first of this series because it was the daily deal last week. So glad I did! I went on to read all three books. This has a very Midsommer Murders feel about it. The older inspector, Smith, is very likable and the supporting characters are intriguing. The stories appear predictable but there is always a nice twist toward the end of the book that makes it well worth reading. If you're looking for a good British detective series without the true crime gore, this is highly recommended.
"Harper Lee American Classic"
A++ I have always loved this book and I have read it several times. I was really pleased to hear Sissy Spacek's performance which was excellent! I highly recommend this version, especially as we await the new release in July. Can't wait!
"A Great Grafton"
This book, as usual, delivers tbe consistent writing expected from Grafton . Kinsey is a lot of fun!
"You can always count on Grafton!"
I have been a Kinsey fan for a long time. I am going back through the Alphabet Murders and having a blast. Perfect writer that any introvert would enjoy.
"Another Great Grafton "
Kinsey is a well developed character masterfully written by Grafton and brought yo life by Judy Kaye. Don't miss this series.
"Flavia de Luce is my hero!"
I love this series. Even though it's about an 11 year old, it is suitable for any age.
