There was meant to be 101 tips and they just kept repeating the same ones over and over but just paraphrasing them. So the first ten minutes was good. I listened to the next twenty hoping against all odds it would improve but sadly disappointed. Also after each 'tip' there was a few seconds of loud jazzed up music to drive you crazy, so it would appear 101 times!

If I could I would give it zero stars!! Think of sitting at church with a long, long boring sermon that says absolutely nothing at all. The voice is so dull and soft and I made myself listen to two chapters and it was so painful!!!

It's easy to identify rage in people who lose their temper at traffic jams, unruly children, unresponsive coworkers, and unrealistic bosses. But we may not recognize more subtle manifestations of anger, such as being uncomfortable with loose ends, acting impatiently, or being overly critical. That is anger, too. And, as is so often the case, angry folks don't seem to realize that the behavior causing them problems at home or at work actually stems from unrecognized and unresolved pain and emotional injuries from the past. Is all this negative emotion inevitable, or are there choices about how to respond.

It was a good read as to 'why' you get angry and then spend the whole book to convince you not to get angry. It was appealing to your rational brain and rather than any emotional brain. I found no tools here at all to help when you are in a difficult spot to calm yourself down. So I was pleased with the 'psychology of anger', but not much actual useful help.

If they don't see their actions are wrong, how do you help them to successfully reform? Criminal psychology is the discipline which tackles these challenges head on. From the signals which give away when we’re lying to the psychological profiling of violent offenders, this exhaustive guide, written by the UK’s top experts, is the perfect introduction.

I did like it, but I found there wasn't as much depth of content that I was after. To be fair I am a therapist but not in this field and I was hoping for more that the standard known information out in the general public. There was too much on police and prisons and definitely not enough on the mind of the actual criminal. I was hoping for a lot more, but still worth the read.

The first part was good and then for each chapter in how to improve the skill, the same type of information was just recycled. Once you got the jist of what they were on about there was no need to go through every single one to bore you to death. I couldn't finish it.
