I would & have. One of Heyer's best I think. I love this story, the characters, the dialogue, the wit, the humour. It's delightfulI & can be listened to again & again.
I really love the two main characters, Miles & Abby. They're well matched. Down to earth, great sense of humour. A really satisfying love story.
I like her voices, timing & pauses are perfect. Intimate conversations between the main characters are memorable. I think she does a great job of reading this story.
Well, I can't answer this for myself as my husband & I are listening to this together when we go to bed at night. It's more for male tastes but I am still enjoying the series and we are going to continue. Well written, well narrated, great characters.
Satisfies the inner desire for more of this interesting pair of lovers
Mr Darcy certainly always intrigues
Her narration was good & easy to listen to.
When Elizabeth finally comes to understand & love Mr Darcy
I found it more coarse than romantic. Superficial, smutty dialogue. Unpolished, shallow characterisations.
Certainly not Elizabeth Hoyt. Probably try another Georgette Heyer, though you need more of hers. I've almost exhausted your supply & can't understand why any of her books are abridged. It spoils them.
She was adequate for this type of novel. Not much in the way of subtlety to challenge her.
All of those but mainly disappointment.
Worth the listen. The story was good, interesting & well written. The narrator was excellent in the role.
I have never encountered something at once so incredibly beautiful and awe inspiring as this account of Paradise Lost. I now see things from God's perspective. Milton, your a genius. This production is superb and captured my imagination. Will listen to this one often.
I found this story of Jesus inspiring and for me life changing. Charles Sheldon presents us with so much insight into the work of Jesus here on earth. Wonderful presentation.
This timeless tale brought to life beautifully. Not a dull moment. I loved it.
I loved the book and this is great too. Narration is wonderful, with full story line and characters. Why not have the first in the series "This present darkness"? That'd be even better!
Very thought provoking presentation. Shows that even Hitler could have sought forgiveness through Christ but his massive ego overshadows the Masters voice.
