Michael J. Sullivan garnered critical raves and a massive readership for his Riyria Revelations series. The first book in his highly anticipated Riyria Chronicles series of prequels, The Crown Tower brings together warrior Hadrian Blackwater with thieving assassin Royce Melborn. The two form a less-than-friendly pairing, but the quest before them has a rare prize indeed, and if they can breach the supposedly impregnable walls of the Crown Tower, their names will be legend.

What made the experience of listening to The Crown Tower the most enjoyable?

I absolutely love a "buddy" book and these two characters just fit together even if they don't realize it. After reading the Riyria Revelations it was wonderful to see where it all started.

What did you like best about this story?

Watching Hadrian and Royce learn about each other and surprise each other with their talents!

What does Tim Reynolds bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I think Tim Reynolds fantastic narration brings Hadrian's optimistic outlook and Royce's pessimistic one to his voice so very much better than if I were reading it in my head.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

A thief and a soldier thrown together for one impossible heist!

    Any additional comments?

Please Audible, bring us the next books in this series: The Rose and the Thorn and The Viscount and the Witch!!!!!

In an urban fantasy that charts daring new territory in the field, Jeremiah Hunt has been broken by a malevolent force that has taken his young daughter and everything else of value in his life: his marriage, his career, his reputation. Desperate to reclaim what he has lost, Hunt finally turns to the supernatural for justice.

If you could sum up Eyes to See in three words, what would they be?

    Engrossing, fast-paced, imaginative!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Eyes to See?

When he finds out about his daughter.

Have you listened to any of Anthony Bowden’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have not, but I liked his interpretation of the character!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

To see where no man has seen before...just kidding. How about Blinded by the Sight?

    Any additional comments?

Worth the read, interesting world. Author puts you right in the moment! I will be reading everything else Nassise writes.

Atticus O’Sullivan, last of the Druids, doesn’t care much for witches. Still, he’s about to make nice with the local coven by signing a mutually beneficial nonaggression treaty when suddenly the witch population in modern-day Tempe, Arizona, quadruples overnight. And the new girls are not just bad, they’re badasses with a dark history on the German side of World War II. With a fallen angel feasting on local high school students, a horde of Bacchants blowing in from Vegas, and a dangerously sexy Celtic goddess of fire vying for his attention, Atticus is having trouble scheduling the witch hunt.

    Overall

Kevin Hearne's 2nd book is as magical and fun as the first! I love this character, (and his dog) and would happily spend my credits on many more Iron Druid Chronicles. Dresden fans will be very happy to find this new author. I hope Luke Daniels continues as narrator, he is excellent!
