After a rough childhood with a mother who liked her men in prison-jumpsuit orange, Jane changed her name, her look and her taste for bad boys. So why is she lusting for William Chase with his tattoo-covered biceps and steel-toed boots? The man blows things up for a living!

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

This story was really bad. I "read" a LOT and enjoy all different kinds of books. The author seemed like she was trying to have a 50 Shades of Gray type graphic quality with a lead character who was not only predictable but someone a person can't even make themselves root for. I actually wanted the story to end badly for the "heroine".

As for the graphic sex scenes, they were so contrived that I began fast forwarding through them.

What character would you cut from Lead Me On?

Jane Morgan ( lead character ).

When a murdered woman is found in the city of Beszel, somewhere at the edge of Europe, it looks to be a routine case for Inspector Tyador Borlof the Extreme Crime Squad. But as he investigates, the evidence points to conspiracies far stranger and more deadly than anything he could have imagined. Borl must travel from the decaying Beszel to the only metropolis on Earth as strange as his own.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I honestly don't know anyone who would enjoy this bok.

    Any additional comments?

This book is unintelligible. The core theme was never explained and the way it was referenced ( constantly )....was very annoying. Wasn't a good story to begin with, but the fact that you can never really figure out what is going on and the point of it all.....is just truly bad writing. I've hung in there on many not great books.....I can't find anything redeeming about this one.

Would you listen to A Storm of Swords again? Why?

What three words best describe Roy Dotrice’s performance?

    Distracting.....

    Any additional comments?

I love this series. The narrator leaves a bit to be desired. Many characters in the book end up sounding like pirates.

As women everywhere will attest, when it comes to understanding female sexuality, most guys know more about what's under the hood of a car than under the hood of a clitoris. And while it seems that men have struggled valiantly since the dawn of time to find ways to reliably elicit the female orgasm, rare is the guy who has the modesty to ask: "What do I do?" Ironically, the answer has always been right there on the tip of his tongue.

This is not a "porn" type book. It is an actual manual. It is VERY, VERY specific....and VERY, VERY accurate.

Skillfully weaving history with mystery, Philip Kerr sets this thrilling story in the 1696 Tower of London, where Sir Isaac Newton, warden of the Royal Mint (a post he actually held), and his apprentice Christopher Ellis (also a real person) track down a counterfeiting ring and, as the body count increases, a murderer. "An illuminating, often crackling exploration into the mysteries of science, mathematics, religion, and human nature," raves Booklist in a starred review.

The book was very fast paced and engaging. I definetly recommend it to anyone who reads historical fiction or murder mysteries.
