..even though I don't like love stories, it was nice to listen to this one. I don't know if I need the other 2 books, though.

An innocent man is about to be executed. Only a guilty man can save him. Travis Boyette is such a man. In 1998, in the small East Texas city of Sloan, he abducted, raped, and strangled a popular high-school cheerleader. He buried her body so that it would never be found, then watched in amazement as police and prosecutors arrested and convicted Donté Drumm, a local football star, and marched him off to death row.

a really good book, unfortunately not with a happy end. An absolutely genius narrator, it is fun to listen to him.
An enthralling story and I bet that is what it can be really like in the real world, unfortunately.

Once, Special Agent Smoky Barrett hunted serial killers for the FBI. She was one of the best, until a madman terrorized her family, killed her husband and daughter, and left her face scarred and her soul brutalized. Turning the tables on the killer, Smoky shot him dead, but her life was shattered forever.

a really good story and a very good narrator, it is only a little sentimental and sometimes a little too much for my taste. You never expect to have tears in your eyes when you read or listen to a thriller.

I had a very hard time understanding what the stories are about, even though I speak and read English every day. I gave up after 1 hour and I never buy something like this again.

his most powerful and intricately-plotted novel yet. Thirteen year-old Johnny Merrimon had the perfect life: happy parents and a twin sister that meant the world to him. But Alyssa went missing a year ago, stolen off the side of a lonely street with only one witness to the crime. His family shattered, his sister presumed dead, Johnny risks everything to explore the dark side of his hometown in a last, desperate search.

New York’s Lombardo’s Steak House is famous for three reasons – the menu, the clientele, and now the gruesome murder of an infamous mob lawyer. Effortlessly, the assassin slips through the police’s fingers, and his absence sparks a blaze of accusations about who ordered the hit. Seated at a nearby table, reporter Nick Daniels is conducting a once-in-a-lifetime interview with a legendary baseball bad-boy.

James Patterson is just my favorite! another book that you can't put away until you're done, even though I don't like Mafia stories. The voice of the narrator is very pleasant.
