The anchor of The O'Reilly Factor recounts one of the most dramatic stories in American history—how one gunshot changed the country forever. In the spring of 1865, the bloody saga of America's Civil War finally comes to an end after a series of increasingly harrowing battles. President Abraham Lincoln's generous terms for Robert E. Lee's surrender are devised to fulfill Lincoln's dream of healing a divided nation. But one man and his band of murderous accomplices are not appeased....

The history lesson was interesting...but Bill O'Reillly was not pleasant to hear for hours and hours...and yes I was familiar with him before this...his reading actually was distracting to the story....but worth a "read" for the history.

What other book might you compare The Next Time You See Me to and why?

Similar to Gone, Girl in the story...but also much different.

What about Cassandra Campbell’s performance did you like?

Excellent performance...look forward to her next performance

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Frightening that this could happen...but we hear the news with way too many of this type of story.

Four United States presidents have been assassinated - in 1865, 1881, 1901, and 1963 - each murder seemingly unrelated and separated by time. But what if those presidents were all killed for the same reason: a clause in the United States Constitution - contained within Article 1, Section 8 - that would shock Americans? This question is what faces former Justice Department operative Cotton Malone in his latest adventure. When a bold assassination attempt is made against President Danny Daniels in the heart of Manhattan, Malone risks his life to foil the killing....

Enjoyed the story and the reader was good. Heavy thinking not required and an interesting premise for a thriller.

Vanessa “Michael” Munroe deals in information - expensive information - working for corporations, heads of state, private clients, and anyone else who can pay for her unique brand of expertise. Born to missionary parents in lawless central Africa, Munroe took up with an infamous gunrunner and his mercenary crew when she was just fourteen. As his protégé, she earned the respect of the jungle's most dangerous men, cultivating her own reputation for years until something sent her running. After almost a decade building a new life and lucrative career from her home base in Dallas, she's never looked back. Until now....

What made the experience of listening to The Informationist the most enjoyable?

The reader was one of the best yet!

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Some of the plot was predictable but setting and character development overcame.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I was heartbroken at one point...but don't want to be a spoiler...shocked and surprised.

    Any additional comments?

One of my favorites...it is hard to not rehash previously told stories...but this one was unique and wonderfully done.
