I bought this MP3 several years ago, and I've listened to it off and on since. I thought that the English accent might be off-putting, but the truth is, I don't really notice it.
I like the way that he starts with breathing. Honestly, like several other reviewers said, I generally don't hear much of it after that, because I've fallen asleep. However, anything I've heard him say, I absolutely agree with. A lot of self-hypnosis authors are just wacko or not from my planet, but I think Harold's audios work because I agree with what he's telling me.
I could NOT listen to this book. Frances Mayes may be a wonderful cook, and she's not a bad writer, but she should get someone else to read her books. Her voice is very nasal and, if this is possible, an excited monotone. She's so excited about everything that it all becomes meaningless.
I think I detected three different stories, and all of them were hard to follow. It may be okay to read, but as an audiobook, it's not very good. I would never recommend this book to anyone else.
