If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

    Story

From birth to death, The War is all the citizens of Dystance know. As children it is drilled into their heads that war is the purpose behind all existence. Winter doesn't agree. She's stumbled across remnants of life the way it was before The War began and now she longs to be as free as her ancestors. With help from her best friend, Cedar, and the boy she is forbidden to love, Tallow, she believes she can do it. Winter can see a life beyond the Pickets, beyond the constant hunger and the threat of death, beyond the war machine.

Brian Menard says: "Never ceases to amaze."

What made the experience of listening to Dystance the most enjoyable?

Seriously? All of it. Mark Tufo has an amazing writing style that transcends genre. He has was it takes to be an excellent story teller. I was ecstatic to find that he continued to interlaced his other stories in to the new one. I love Winter she is a spectacular new female lead who is strong & loyal nearly to a fault.

What did you like best about this story?

Oh man, what didn't I like best? The story was familiar yet bew & different all at the same time. In a time when alot of books focused on young readers it us difficult for a writer to stand out. There was a love triangle of sorts, but it was the absolute focus of y he entire story this was refreshing. I loved Ceder as the best friend & her obsession with romance novels that Winter pretty much finds revolting. I could write all day about how much I enjoyed the book, but I must get back to work. I will say well done Mr. Tufo, again.

Have you listened to any of Julia Whelan’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

She always does an excellent job allowing you to know when she is speaking from different points of view without sounding creepy as a male.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Absolutely and nearly did, if my kids hadn't of wanted to eat dinner.

    Any additional comments?

Keep up the amazing work Tufo. Akso for those who enjoyed this story I urge you to check out all of Mark Tufo's other writing, you will not be disappointed.

The actors in James Franco’s brilliant debut novel include a McDonald’s drive-thru operator who spends his shift trying on accents; an ex-child star recalling a massive beachside bacchanal; hospital volunteers and Midwestern transplants; a vampire flick starlet who discovers a cryptic book written by a famous actor gone AWOL; and the ghost of River Phoenix. Then there’s Franco himself, who prowls backstage, peering out between the lines - before taking the stage with fascinating meditations on his art, along with nightmarish tales of excess.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I'm not 100% sure yet. It was very hard to follow & keep up with all the stories going on.

If you’ve listened to books by James Franco before, how does this one compare?

This is my first, and may be the last if any others are soo hard to follow.

Have you listened to any of James Franco’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

His voice is great, and he is a good reader. He is good a verations in voice.

Did Actors Anonymous inspire you to do anything?

Re-listen to it, because i am sure i got lost along the way. I get his passion, I can feel it in his words. It has great quotes. However, it is how i imagine him to be in life, all over the damn place.

    Any additional comments?

I love Franco he is funny, and a great Actor, his words are well written, but i think it may be easier to read the actual book, then to listen to it.

I craved his touch like a drug, even knowing it would weaken me. I was flawed and damaged, and he opened those cracks in me so easily…Gideon knew. He had demons of his own. Where does Bared to You rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Amazing, soo extremely well written, Sylvia has an amazing way of bringing you into her stories. One of my top favorite books of all time.

What other book might you compare Bared to You to and why?

None, Sylvia is in a league of her own. He books are some of what you would expect from an erotic romance, but so well done. Amazingly well written, and her stories are relatable
on a level, and yet also out of grasp.

Have you listened to any of Jill Redfield’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Only the Cross Fire books. She does very well in all of them.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When they dance at the garden party.

Karma is a bitch, i know that is 4 words, but oh well.

What other book might you compare The Fall of the Governor to and why?

    all the other Govrnor series.

    Which scene was your favorite?

All of it, the whole thing had me on edge! I loved the Rick parts.

If you could rename The Fall of the Governor, what would you call it?

    Payback

    Any additional comments?

I have learned to love the governor through these books and it made me sad to see him battle with being Brian & Phillip, i really think he is still Brian at heart, he only became what he did out of fear of letting something bad happen to anyone else, thinking that if he doesn't do it it won't get done and the easiest way is to get rid of any threat.
