Bradbury 13 is a collection of radio dramas masterfully adapted from classic short stories by veteran science-fiction author Ray Bradbury. Bradbury's stories refract our own fears and foibles through otherworldly prisms.

if you love Sci-fi, and old TV show like "Tales from the Darkside" or "the Twilight Zone," then give this a go. I didn't care for all of the stories, but the performances make them all worth listening to.

This is the way the world ends: with a nanosecond of computer error in a Defense Department laboratory and a million casual contacts that form the links in a chain letter of death. And here is the bleak new world of the day after: a world stripped of its institutions and emptied of 99 percent of its people. A world in which a handful of panicky survivors choose sides - or are chosen.

I know people love this book, but not one of my favorites. Don't get me wrong, it was good, but the story line seemed to drag at points. The overall length with a rather muted ending probably lessened it's intended effect on me. The narration was awesome however.

Imagine you could travel back to the 14th century. What would you see? What would you smell? More to the point, where are you going to stay? And what are you going to eat? Ian Mortimer shows us that the past is not just something to be studied; it is also something to be lived. He sets out to explain what life was like in the most immediate way, through taking you to the Middle Ages. The result is the most astonishing social history book you are ever likely to read: evolutionary in its concept, informative and entertaining in its detail.

I really enjoyed this one. Having seen the movie and being very disappointed, I was tentative about investing 40+ hrs to this one. I'm glad i did! The story keeps you hanging on and the the character development is great
Now I have to mention the narrator...AWESOME!!!!!!! Really made the experience! Possibly the best narrator on audible! I can't say enough about his performance.

definitely entertaining, but the story seemed to lull at times. King does an admirable job narrating and drastically improves as he goes, but for some reason I didn't care for his voice. Good book...Not Great

As the off-season caretaker at the atmospheric old hotel, he'll have plenty of time to spend reconnecting with his family and working on his writing.
