This story goes on and on and was a let down in the end. Seems like lots of filler to extend the story. lost me early on but I finished it any way.
Pale grey for guilt book 9 left me wondering if this was a rush job .
Robert Petkoff is a great story teller, and this one is written well. Most of the John D. Macdonald books are top notch. I enjoyed it.
I endured this book,(I'm not a quitter). The narrator was just not macho enough to make the story believable. And like the other characters I was annoyed by the silly comments from Elvis...
The story line was drawn out to long to make it last It seemed. I tried to finish this book twice and just gave up. I will try another of Ivan Doig's at a later time after previewing !
I was disapointed with this book,I suppose I did not look into its story line.
A great Surprise ! I looked forward to the next listening, and found the next book to be a let down after such an exciting story.
