Ok, if you want very, very, very explicit, erotic language, then this book is for you. I LOVED IT! But it's not for everybody. And the language occurs within a romantic, hetero couple with an extra guy included once, which is less than Lora Leigh has done in another book of the same type. So, it could be your flava or not, but it was definitely mine. And the story was okay. It held everything together sensibly. But Lora Leigh is purchased more for the erotic relationship, I thin, and secondarily for the great story. If you the story means more, then you might want to pass on this one. If not, get it in a hurry. This one is a a keeper with bookmarked parts.
The story was short with some M-M-F sex and M-F sex that was somewhat explicit but not, in my opinion, up to the level of erotica. But, for some people, it might be. For it's brevity, the author did ok with creating a story. But, like many shorts, it was mediocre. I didn't regret spending the small amount of money--comparatively. But I also didn't wonder if there were other stories by this author or leave with any portions of the story continuing to resonate. So, all-in-all, it's one that you can take or leave.
It just didn't do that much for me. I'm a heterosexual female who loves gay erotica. But this story didn't work for me, and I used it as my trial for this author. So I won't be going back for seconds via any of his other stories. I found this book to be mediocre, and the narrator did what he could with what he had. It's not much I can say about it. It's a story with a little meaning, which is great; there's some substance there. And sex certainly occurs. But the sex acts weren't romantic enough for my taste, which I guess would be my main critique. But someone else might find the way the sexual encounters were written as great. Enuf said. Take it or leave it.
Megan Hart has done it again. Though this book is a departure from her usual fare, she doesn't falter. There are no sexual acts but appropriate sexual tension of a sort. The culmination, after getting to know the two main characters, is worth it all. I was floored and so moved. When I focus on it, I'm still moved days after reading it. I like to be impacted by a book even after its over. And Megan has done it for me more than once, which is no easy feat for me. Yet, in this book, she's done it again. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is b/c I was anxious to find out what was going to happen,so Ms. Hart maybe could've left off 30 minutes or so. But I don't know. It might've lessened its impact. I don't know. But I don't regret one minute of this story. Always greedy for more Megan Hart. I wait with baited breath. Oh yeah, the narrator plays it all perfectly.
