This is my favorite book of all-time! I will listen again and again. If you like historical fiction, download this right now! You won't regret it.
Although I thought deep was a good book, it did not quite live up to the first three books in the series. The chemistry between the two main characters Liz and Ben didn't seem as passionate or genuine. Still this book was a solid one, and I look forward to reading more from Kylie Scott.
I loved the first two books in the Stage Dive series, and Lead was just as awesome! I can't download book four fast enough!
I'm really loving this series! Mal the main male character is so funny! I laughed out loud several times. There is strong language and explicit sex scenes, so be forewarned.
This was a easy, lighthearted, funny book. I would've given it a higher rating if not for the narration, which I found a bit annoying. Not so annoying that I stopped listening, but enough that it detracts from the story.
I love the series! I would've given it five stars, but I docked a star because it's a young adult book and it has terrible language, which I don't think is really appropriate or necessary.
I loved this book! It's one of those rare gems that make you want to stay up all night reading. There is some language, so I wouldn't recommend it for younger than seventeen years old. Other then that, it's amazing!
I was very excited about this book because I loved the first book in this series, Sweet Filthy Boy. Sadly this book just didn't measure up. Still an okay listen, especially since the narrators are some of the best.
What Alice forgot is the story of Alice Love, a 39-year-old mother of three who goes to the gym and passes out during her spin class, hitting her head and forgetting the last 10 years of her life. A lot has happened in that ten years, she's had three kids, become a lot more fit, and separated from her husband Nick, who ten years ago she was madly in love with. This is my favorite of Liane Moriarty's books. She is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. She does such a great job with her character development, you really feel like you know and care about these people in her stories. There is some strong language in this book, so be forworned. Other then that, I highly recommend What Alice Forgot!
Fourteen Days Later was a fun, feel good listen. No real drama. This book will never win any literary awards, but it was a nice escape for a few hours.
Big Little lies, starts with a murder. We then go back in time to before the night of the murder and see what's going on in three different women's lives. Their names are Madeline, Celeste, and Jane. All three women have children entering kindergarten this year, which is the common thread. The author does such a good job of making you like and understand each of the characters. The mystery of the book is that we don't find out who has been murdered until the end, so the whole book you're thinking which of these ladies is dead, and how does that affect their families and children. Some of the main themes of the book are bullying at school, and domestic violence. It's also a lot about relationships, and how women are strong, and can go through things that they didn't think they could go through, and become better people. I thought it was a beautiful book. I will definitely be reading more from this author.
