Yes. The content of this book is dark but I love how the author (C. J. Roberts) took on a subject that unfortunately takes place in our world and didn't make it "pretty". I can't read books with vampires and the shape changers because I struggle with how could that possibly happen. I know it is fantasy. You can follow the ups and downs of the characters. Emily Durante is talented.
I would read anything these ladies write. The story is fun. Work was interfering with my listening to this book. (lol) Couldn't wait to get home to escape to Paris (my favorite city) and Mia's life. Enjoyed.
I am 4 hours in and I think I am done. It is too corny for me and unreal. Love the male narrator's voice but he isn't in it much. This will be a return.
I liked this one a lot better than the first. I loved Mal. Found myself laughing at him and with him. FUN.
This is such a fun listen. The whole series is good. Love the accents.
I love the Outlander series but the last couple of books have been a struggle for me. I can't put my finger on what is missing. Too much about the history and not enough of a storyline. I will always read anything that Diana Gabaldon writes.
This book is so much fun. Love the relationship between Drew and Kate. The first book is told from the POV of Drew and this one is Kate. Found myself laughing throughout the book. Plus Sebastian York does the ending.
I loved the first book but the second I found myself saying "what friend would tell you that" or "why isn't the story line of the kids or his mother being featured". Hell at that moment I would have liked more about racing. Just missed the mark for me.
This was a good listen. I usually don't like books involving bands but I was interested in the Hangover take with a woman. It is fun.
There wasn't anything I didn't like about this book. Everything was tied up with no questions unanswered. I found myself involved with the characters. The writing is so good you are able to over look the horrible behaviors of the characters and love them. I will be looking for more from J. M. Darhower. Loved Carla Mercer-Meyer's narration.
This book was a fun adventure into the dark side of Mafia and added in human slaves trade. After I type that it sounds crazy, but this a really good book of empowerment and risks people do for love and honor. I was so glad the next was available.
